The baritone was a principal with the Australian Opera as Pieter Van Der Stolk in mid 1970's. Huge tremolo in his voice. Not a favourite with the public.

i agree, his voice doesnt suit the role. he would do good as sulpice in la fille du regiment, but his voice is too light and nice sounding for rigoletto.
