@MrExtendet it is a glitch. If it was an easter egg, the house would have contained something funny or interesting. It's quite clear they just used one of the standard house models for decorating the town.

I still think its an easteregg bcuz of the ghosts, wich where normal humans and when they enter the house the become ghosts, so its not just a standart house model, this got programmed ;)

@MrExtendet no, a glitch is when something happens that shouldn't happen, like leaving the map. In fact, that's pretty much what happens here, you just leave the map by entering that house. You weren't supposed to enter the house, but because of a bug that causes a group of people to push you up there you can, therefore it's a glitch. The people who enter the house become "ghosts" because the house is just an empty shell and they didn't bother programming the NPC paths for this particular house.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but I think I recall reading in a forum post that this house was originally intentended to be Thwip*something* manor. Sorry, too lazy to look up the name; however I do know that it appears in Fable III in Old Town. It's where you find a book for a quest as well as a hidden "Souvenir" vault laden with objects from major past Fable characters. Like Lady Grey's brain. For whatever reason, the manor was not included in Fable 2.

1. It was planned to be a store, but it was canceled and instead of removing it, lion head just made it incredulously hard to get to.
