My almost stock 2WD SAP Tundra finishes second gear WAY before this modified Titan does and I have a 70MPH 2nd gear because of the wider rear differential. @GTnumber1 Well your not 100% correct. The GT500 Nissan uses a NA 4.5L VH45DE and now for 2011 they use a 3.4L VRH34A. Not the 5.6L. However, the Infintity is using the 5.6L Endurance in the new QX56 and it does have more horsepower than the iForce 5.7L. Just because the numbers are lower doesn't mean the vehicle is slower. Take Mitsubishi EVO 291 hp vs. Subaru WRX STI 305 hp. The Mitsu wins every time stock for stock. A lot of enginuity... LOL!!
@turboram33 I always went on assumption, without doing the detailed research, that the GT500 GTR used the VK56DE..What I just read was that Nismo had originally planned to use the 5.6L in 2007,but then switched to the 4.5L because of it's useable power/torque band range..Thanks for bringing that to light..And also thanks for backing me up with my point to the bloke below, that although the Titan's 5.6L is tuned to 317Hp which is lower than the Tundra's 385Hp 5.7L, the Titan is still quicker.

Well idk if either of them are normal racers (track) but neither driver stalled (Brake + Gas) Coming from someone who has beat other 5.7 Tundras and 5.6 Titans. Even a few Desiels (stock). I drive a 5.7 Tundra Crewmax and if the driver launches good that will almost determine the race.
@7wilo, very good. I'm glad you realized the 5.7 is a V-8. Also, the 4.7 is a V-8. The 4.0 is a V-6, and the 2.7 is an inline 4. Now you can solve the world's engineering problems with the information I have given you.
All I can say other than nice run is:until we see under the hood of the Tundra and I get to drive the Titan myself, their is no way that the Titan can pull off from the 5.7 Tundra-Reg Cab to beat it all, without the titan having a lot of work. Was the tundra modded at all? My 07 tundra double cab with TRD CAI, and exhaust beat titans by almost 2 trucks. You must have alot of stuff done to your titan, cause a rcsb with CAI, and exhaust will run 13.92 with a good launch. i must admit nissan does make good power trans in all there vehicles i had a v6 pathfinder and that thing just moved i was amazed on how much power it had i loved the power and the way it towed for being a small suv. i could just imagine how a v8 pulls.. but the features suck ass on all there trucks and suv's, i just traded my wifes pathfinder for a 2008 tundra and we couldnt be happier!

A DC tundra can run 14.2 with intake and exaust and runs mid 14's stock.......A Titan is a low to mid 15 second truck. Stock for Stock, the tundra is a good bit quicker..That's a fact, not an opinion.

I'm sure that everyone knows the GTR uses a twin turbo V6 engine, and not the V8 engine taken out of a Tit-On truck. Even Nisan knows the V8 in their truck is underpowered rated at 305 horse, when Toyota's engine is rated at 385 horsepower utilizing basically the same displacement. The nisan in this video barely beat a V6 Tundra. Thats not something to brag about...LOL! Tit-On.

@GTnumber1 Well your not 100% correct. The GT500 Nissan uses a NA 4.5L VH45DE and now for 2011 they use a 3.4L VRH34A. Not the 5.6L. However, the Infintity is using the 5.6L Endurance in the new QX56 and it does have more horsepower than the iForce 5.7L. Just because the numbers are lower doesn't mean the vehicle is slower. Take Mitsubishi EVO 291 hp vs. Subaru WRX STI 305 hp. The Mitsu wins every time stock for stock. A lot of enginuity... LOL!!

@turboram33 I always went on assumption, without doing the detailed research, that the GT500 GTR used the VK56DE..What I just read was that Nismo had originally planned to use the 5.6L in 2007,but then switched to the 4.5L because of it's useable power/torque band range..Thanks for bringing that to light..And also thanks for backing me up with my point to the bloke below, that although the Titan's 5.6L is tuned to 317Hp which is lower than the Tundra's 385Hp 5.7L, the Titan is still quicker.

Well idk if either of them are normal racers (track) but neither driver stalled (Brake + Gas) Coming from someone who has beat other 5.7 Tundras and 5.6 Titans. Even a few Desiels (stock). I drive a 5.7 Tundra Crewmax and if the driver launches good that will almost determine the race.

All I can say other than nice run is:until we see under the hood of the Tundra and I get to drive the Titan myself, their is no way that the Titan can pull off from the 5.7 Tundra-Reg Cab to beat it all, without the titan having a lot of work. My brother has a reg cab tundra...believe me...I know what they run like.

@Tophairybutt The Nissan VK56DE 5.6L V8 found in the Titan and M56 is one of the best performing naturally aspirated V8 engines on the market. Nissan motorsports uses this same model engine in the annual Super GT500 international races in their race GTR which has won a number of races against Corvettes, Ferrari's,Lambo's etc..You have to be crazy to think that a toyota V6 can keep up with this..Toyota's I-Force 5.7L V8 isn't even a match as we clearly see in this video.

Was the tundra modded at all? My 07 tundra double cab with TRD CAI, and exhaust beat titans by almost 2 trucks. You must have alot of stuff done to your titan, cause a rcsb with CAI, and exhaust will run 13.92 with a good launch. Titan sounds sick dude!!! :) I must say you def. not spelling all the beans about your mods though!

i must admit nissan does make good power trans in all there vehicles i had a v6 pathfinder and that thing just moved i was amazed on how much power it had i loved the power and the way it towed for being a small suv. i could just imagine how a v8 pulls.. but the features suck ass on all there trucks and suv's, i just traded my wifes pathfinder for a 2008 tundra and we couldnt be happier!

I race a hell of a lot people and their dumb tundras and the titan always wins. Nissan titan will win any race in a stock class the same as it. Even look up drag racing videos here on Youtube. You will see the titan wins every time against trucks in the same class as it.

@4T5Scott lol A Titan would win an 1/8th mile race but not a 1/4 mile race. A RCSB tundra runs high 13's to low 14's stock. A DC tundra can run 14.2 with intake and exaust and runs mid 14's stock.......A Titan is a low to mid 15 second truck. Stock for Stock, the tundra is a good bit quicker..That's a fact, not an opinion.

Especially one who has a bit smaller of a motor and horsepower. But I still will take my American trucks over everything. American trucks will blow away all of those foreign trucks, haul more, pull more and do the test better then them all. I mean lets try and see a Toyota race a Chevy 10.4 liter 632 big block lol. Don't say say oh their 1/2 ton because no their not. I own a titan and was actually going to buy a tundra if I didn't want the titan and their both 3/4 tons. So quite comparing 1/2 tons to 3/4 tons. Lets see you compare them both to a heavy duty f250, Chevy 2500 and a dodge 2500. No comparison
