A belief in god has nothing to do with education, and there's no reason why any child should have to say the pledge at all, or to have to be beat over the head with one religious view. I'm a christian who struggles at living a christian life but definitely believes Christ is my savior through my personal experiences. I'll try to help lead an atheist to Christ but I won't argue with them. Religion is not supposed to be forced on anyone their free to believe what they want.
