Its not corrupted, go to the first menu and click ctrl+alt+delete and task manager will start, go to file then run and type explorer.exe and there you go

Hei Azlan enjoyed seeing young people like you experimenting with stuffs. Maybe in the future try going to safe mode with command prompt and type in rstrui to attempt system restore. And if you put in the Win XP cd and choose Windows repair it should put back all the corrupted system file without losing installed programs and all. Remember Anti Virus is not designed to restore back Windows if it is corrupted by virus, it only remove virus or unpatch a file which is infected.

my last installation became corrupted by itself (windows tend to do that sometimes), i scanned it with MBAM, SAS, analyzed HJT log, scanned with S&D, ran CCleaner, tried everything but it always gave me a BSOD shortly after startup..then i bought a new hdd and put my stuff from the old one to the new one, and everything works..conclusion:windows love to get corrupted (just the software, the hardware was fine)
