Thank you very much for explaining the fundimentals of the canon 350d. You have symbollickly have given me permission to use the scene settings whereas, before I would have classed them as cheating, so I'm looking forward to pt2 in the series... Thanks Again
@shandalalala LCD screen will not show live view. you need to use viewfinder to click the pic. you can use LCD screen to watch pics that were already clicked.
For a guy who knows a lot about photography you might think you wouldn't put yourself between your camera and a bright ass window. You're washed out we can hardly see you
@hfkwoolf Many people dont like reading the manuals that come with the cameras, but if you read it thoroughly, you will learn a lot ....read it from cover to cover.
thanks!

@deepriverCT The view through the viewfinder isn't an LCD screen, it's the actual image you're trying to capture.

The mountain with cloud is for landscape pictures. And the portrait with the star is for photographing in the dark.

to turn the camera back on after it goes to sleep, half press the shutter. It'll come back to life :)

@chaswuzzer Hey, I've just bought the same model and noticed your lens. I was wondering what size they were. Could you tell me please?
Are they 55-200mm's? ;)

After I watch a couple of tutorials, I'll convince my mom to get me a rebel. Wish me luck. Hahaha.
