You're actually all wrong. Countries didn't exist at that time, GREECE was an area which within it had the city states of Sparta, Athens, Macedon etc... The current geographical location of MaceDONIA wasn't where Alexander was from or started his conquest - if he was born today, in the exact same place he was born hundreds of years ago - he'd be Greek. Macedon and Macedonia aren't the same thing.

Is there any historical movie, wich is not discussed more know of any, where no one fights over who is right and who is not? Can you not even have to be good and just enjoy the movie? Yeah, people keep getting ancient and modern Macedonia mixed up. There was a separate being called 'Macedonia' -- numerous Greek texts refer to them as such, not as 'Greeks'. But today, Macedonia is a province of Greece. That's the only part of ancient Macedonia that survives -- the name; the rest is scattered unrecognizably among people all over the world.

Αλέξανδρος is 100% greek, it comes from the word ανηρ = (man) and αλέξω = ( defend), and it isn't pronounced "Αλεξοάνδρας" because in greek language when we have two vowels in a row we omit the first one. Moreover, "ανδρος" is another grammatical greek phenomenon of saying who you "defend" in this case...of man = ανδρος. SO, there you see the analysis.
