The screen is the same size at 3.5 inches. The display is Wayyyyy better then anything Blackberry has. (come on RIM Blackberry users want better screens too!) Maybe the brightness wasn't up all the way. I can keep going on about this. Sorry but this review is amateur.

You're right, the Samsung Galaxy S has a far more beautiful screen (bigger and brighter)

With the Galaxy S, Samsung has not only closed the gap with Apple iPhone4, it has passed Apple with a full street lenght !

okay so everytime apple does a new phone, it has to groundbreaking? this high-res screen you talk about, i guess you mean these super-amoled screens. yeah, i've seen it and it's not even close to the retina-display. front-facing camera is not an innovation, but apple made it easy. how about htc, samsung, and all other manufacturers. they've been playing catch-up with iphone for 4 years soon. right? please tell me what's so new and creative about galaxy-s? or droid-x?

@Infanity23 the only thing that was really groundbreaking with the iphone was multi-touch and the fact that apple had huge fan base even before the iphone launch made it a huge success.At the time it launched smartphones were ugly and just by looking and them most people refused to buy them.the only think i have to thank to apple is that it made the smartphone market to grow to incredable proportions,a lot of money and competition are in place and we have such a great phones thanks to apple

With every other phone with a front cam you can make videocalls without any psswrd. Just dial and talk with video!

The iPhone 4 does HD for sure. But there is no way to play it wiressly to your tv!

And there is no hdmi out to connect.

So I do have the facts and that's why I commented.

BTW have you read that Android passed iOS in the US.

I'm using video calling ever since I got my first video call capeble phone, the Nokia N70, way back in June 2006!

I think you're also from the EU so you should know.

There is a binding agreement between the EU and all phone manufacurers that starting Jan. 2011 ALL chargers should be the same and MUST have a MICRO-usb connector ;-)

It's due to the fact Samsung couldn't supply Apple with enough Amoled (not SuperAmoled because they won't be available to other manufacturers within a year) that Apple had no choise!

Apple made the front facing camera easy? How's that?

You still can't use it over 3G (officialy) and only with an other iPhone4 user :-(

How about HD video out hdmi and micro usb for charging/data transfer to start with? And no Itunes and expandable memory by sdcard?

@nikita92 okay i don't understand what you're talking about in the begging about the screens. yeah they made it easy. you don't have to enter password or anything like that. not apples fault it's only over wi-fi, it wouldn't work over 3g.

EEEHHH micro usb is creative? are you kidding? expandable memory? yeah hdmi is nice. but you know that the iPhone 4 does HD video right? you need to get some facts before you comment.

What I meant is that Apple would have wanted to use Amoled screens instead of the i-lcd screen they use now.

But the fact is that Samsung couldn't deliver enough Amoled screens to supply Apple.

They (Samsung) need their production capacity to supply their own production line of phones and for HTC Desire (which also has to switch to lcd because of the shortage of Amoled screens)

of course apple is always going to be "catch up phone" How you think you can compete with one model at year? when others make maybe six phones at year. of course they can put the new better parts to phone faster than apple. I think apple made good job and catching up things where they have been behind and what i thinked what could be better on my last model (3gs)

oh my god.. it's a 3,5 inch screen. it's a phone. what are you expecting? catch up with the competition? what else do you want in it? they innovated with iphone 4. EVERY phone from now on is gonna have a gyro, and every phone is gonna have a super high-res screen. this is how it is. apple sets standards.

Advice to you, don't do reviews that you know nothing about, the screen is the same size as other iPhone's and its the best screen out so far, also the brightness is down dumbass, Apple habit? they sold 3 million phones in 3 weeks lol in the U.S. alone. I hope your ugly ass dies.

Like it or not. BUT its unbelievable that people are willing to pay more then double price just to have this apple-logo on it. the samsung galaxy S is at least as good as the iphone 4 and it costs only about 450 Euros ! And I also don´t understand that grown up people act like 6 year olds when someone is saying something bad about the Iphone . If you read the tech-forums on the net it´s hilarious how angry and agressive people get when the topic comes to the iphone. @radiogirl:nice little video!

your a hater too the max. its kills all other screens. its the highest pixel screen in smartphones in the smallest space. the screen didnt get smaller its still 3.5. and it has 78% of the pixels that the ipad has, just on that little screen. no clue what your talking about.
