I love the MPH and RPM gauge. haha, and my mom's 1993 Lumina APV has the same radio! So retro. But honestly though, those old GM radios are kinda ugly.
Wow corvettelover 1979 you didnt see it lmao and you say you know all the details. That car is a 86 or newer with a 84 dash becuase that car has a 3rd brake light. 86 was the first year with this and yes the dash was revised in 85 beacuse motortrend and all of them complained about the numbers and all were to small and hard to see. Also that car still has the 86 or newer steering wheel becuase it is the fatter style 84 and 85 where thinner whels.

That is a 84 digital dash . From 1985- 1989 was the 2nd gen of that style dash then in 1990 they brought in the orange style combo digital and needle dash.

The RPM-tachometer is definitely the 1984-only design!Trust me!Although I am from Europe,I know all the details about the C4,C5 and C6 Corvettes.Maybe the other Corvette (that you found the dash face plate)was a 1984 model and not 1986.Still,the dash plate fits to the 1985-1989 models.
The digital portion of the dash looks to be from an '84. My '86 has the original digital cluster in it and the RPM guage is the main difference in the look.
no look up 84 and look up an 85 they are really similar but the 84 doesnt look quite as good and also the rpm on the 84 looks like a roller coaster it goes up then down on the 85 and up it goes up and then to the right

It's a 1986 dash early 86. I replaced the the dash face plate from another 1986 corvette, so i know it to be an 86.

That is an '84 only dash, my '86 was built in November of '85. It is also an early '86. That style was brought in with the '85 model year.
