george is probably my favourite fighter at welterweight at the moment, he just controls the ground from top and bottom so easily, id like to see him fight st pierre here in australia. come on dana make it happen lol
lol ok people, say what you want about the man's camera appeal, George is one of the most under appreciated fighters in the UFC. Great boxing skills, beautiful jiu-jitsu, and always very active and interesting to watch.
Some guys gotta learn how to take an interview. George makes eye contact while his bieng asked a question, then ignores the interviewer and speak to the camera
No it wouldn't mate. The interviewer is asking him a question, so when he replies, he should look at him. Televised interviews are about the audience "listening in" on a conversation, you know, same as when you are watching a movie, your listening in to conversations.
Alot of people do it not just him, I find it very distracting and irritating. I wonder why people dont say anything to them about it.
When you speak to someone, do you turn around and look in some other direction and speak ?
He has excellent skills and great potential BUT he's in the 155 division wich is the more stacked division in the UFC right now...I think that he's better for WEC.
I'm one of George's biggest fans and what I said a year ago was based on his performance in the show.George has advanced a lot since then and I believe he must be in the top contenders right now. Still, there are so many people in line for a shot at the title that it surprises me a man defended that belt 3 times.
