This was the song that won me over to Billy Joel. At the time I was a strong Journey/Foreigner/Survivor fan so the "Uptown girl, tell her about it, still rock and roll to me" sound just didn't cut it as rock songs. Then I heard this......

What a song. I'm not old enough to empathize with it, but it's such an amazing glimpse into the mind of a 35-year-old. He sits on the border between age and youth, wanting one last night of being a "passionate boy" before settling into his middle-aged life on the other side... Truly moving.
