jimmy briscoe and the beavers...need to strart touring....love to see them.....these boys are bad...the jackson 5...did'nt want part of them.....jimmy was bad....
Don't hate on the J-5, they were the standard, not Jimmy Briscoe and the Little Beavers. Michael's voice was impectable, and of course the dance steps of the J-5. Both groups could do their thang, but J-5 come on now!!
I know people sample nowadays, but as an avid music listener for so many years I miss our Brothers singing and making this music! The instrumentation, harmony, dance routines,Stage presence, ect! This is how this music got to be what it is! We need to reach back and grab the torch and take this stuff to another level.Lets go back to Originality!!
Im grew up in Jersey City New Jersey and I rember them. I was in their fan club for a short time and we went to the apollo theater to se them. I was very suprise that they did not go far in their career. They all were very talented and hansome .too.
hello..I also grew up in JC also and was a member of their FAN CLUB. I agree with you they were great!!!I I had such a crush on Jimmy. I would love 2 see what they look and sound like now.
This is Rare 45 .I found this in an oldie store ,but remmember it in 1975!! Hey Frankie we had to bump heads somewhere because our collection is almost indentical
the pride i have, and the confidence i draw, i owe to these brothers, these songs will live in my heart forever along with good people i grew up with in baltimore. i've lived and traveled the world but no place compares to you cherry hill.
Baltimore soul is alive and well. Check out a group down there called Marcel & The Truth. "Hopes Too High" has been one of the best real soul releases in years ...
Beautiful song, Frankey, I had forgotten all about that. You need to find some youngsters down there in Baltimore and put this kind of music back on the charts. I think a good group could create a market for this again.
I never heard of this group back in the day, but thanks to you tube I am a huge fan now. Keep posting every thing you have on this group.

I had this song on a 45 until I wore it out. Great song. Born and raised in Newark, NJ where this song was a big hit.
