On the west coast, where I live (Gothenburg) the fishing industry has been especially affected by beluga activity and that is why we now have a 5000 Euro reward on each Beluga head.
Now THAT is the most disgusting and stupidest thing that I have ever heard. Majority of the beluga population are in Canadian waters and I don't know ANY kind of beluga incident in the wild. Belugas only live in cold regions like the Arctic and Antarctica. Only attacks that I would understand is if you harrassed or threatened them. Get YOUR crazy bullshit OFF OF YOUTUBE. Your a snake handler, what the fuck does that have to do belugas?
Well.. I got news for you Miss dolphinhugger. Our prime minister Fredrik Reinfeld just raised Swedens beluga-hazard level to defcon 2.. that means that our military always throws handgrenades into the water before we swim on popular beaches to kill or maim the murderous bastards..
Definitely false. Belugas are far more gentle creatures compared to sharks and sometimes even killer whales. As far as I know, belugas teeth and jaws aren't as strong compared to most cetacean species.
That's just wrong and DISGUSTING. Unless you have proof about these beluga attacks, I will believe it. Beluags eating the fish in your waters is only by a matter of survival. We call pigs to eat, why can't they kill fish for them to eat?
i remember a few days ago when i went to the aquarium, i was playing with Tiqa for more then 30 min she likes to chase ppl and see what u got in your hands =)
Yeah she does, she loves "running" with toddlers. If you just wave your hand, she'll come on over too. I brought a slinky for her and her eyes were glued to it.
Oh, that's shedding skin. The bottom jaw is from bumping into the side walls. Qila [her mother] wasn't being careful enough to stop her from bumping into walls. The marks on her back are rake marks from her grandmother Aurora.
Just reading the comments and it would just be better to ignore them and they wont come again

Here in Swedish waters we have had numerous buluga attacks this summer..
Our goverment is paying 5000 euro for each dead beluga, i killed 2 this spring in my nets..
