When Salak came to TPS 2007, he was 20 years old potential goalie with many many flaws in his technique. It took year and a half from Urpo Ylönen (man who coached Miikka "Kipper" Kiprusoff to NHL) to polish Alexander to a goalie he is now.
Alexander has his unique style to stop pucks, which I like a lot. Kinda like Hasek or Tretjak IMO. We learned to like Alexander a lot in Turku, during his stay I sincerely hope he will become next "Kipper" in NHL.
wow, he has a crazy Style, off some kind Butterfly, he makes hm self smaller, instad off bigger, not saying its bad, just never seen a goalie looking like that... oh i have when my 9 year old little brother plays...
you see those kids behind SALAK and the one on the chair??? THATS ME!!!! I WAS ON THE CHAIR!!! i lost my voice that day so they had to keep looking back at me cuz i'd write something!! that was a long freakin trip!!! it took 10 hours from the soo - st. georges.. its on CAMP ROAD.. it was so fun!!! i loved the flying squirrel!!! aaaaaaaahhhh~~~~!!!!!! everyone that went this year gets to automatically go next year!!
