@NeilUnreal The game uses the Sunburn 3D engine that in turn uses a very popular HLSL effect technique called "Normal Mapping" and "Parallax Occlusion" (although in this video I disabled parallax). Search youtube for "sunburn xna" to see more examples.
@NemoKradXNA Yes. All 3D models, diffuse, bump, specular and Parallax texture maps are my own work. Takes a while, but The GIMP is a great tool for bitmap editing.
Ah, thanks. I was trying to tell whether I was seeing parallax mapping. I can't wait to see the next update.
