nice layout you should scrap away the extra ballast from the rails and then it wont make tht cruching noise and 5*

I'm dismantling this layout and I'll look into new controller options once my new one is built. I definately won't be sticking with what I've got though

my advice is to change from the hornby control to the bachmann dynamis, its much much better. great layout by the way.

Thanks, it was quite time consuming, one thing I learnt from it is to wash the ballast first or it makes the sleepers really light in colour
