I agree with irmar...the choreography is great, the music is wonderful...the dancer is a beautiful young woman...but her dancing seems to be stilted and choppy, she is probably new to dancing this style, she seems to be dancing by numbers, rather than with her heart to the passionate music she is performing to. She did a great job, but I think with a few more years of dancing under her belt it could be much better.

I thought she lacked grace and fluidity, and especially passion. She was jerky. To me she looks more like a lovely amateur than a real dancer. But still to be respected for giving all she could for the Katrina victims.

@irmar what do you know about dance? it's a russian folk gypsie dance. perhaps you're mstaken ..there are so many types of gypsie dances on account that they are everywhere.

This is a simplitc folk dance. It's not flamenco or anything fancy like the spanish . it's Russian. the male russian dance routines are more complex.

I didn't comment on the steps of the choreography, I commented on her performance of it, which is a wholly different thing. Can't you even read properly?
