Yes i know opel = vauxhall, but opel is main brand, opel was out there before vauxhall and opel creates all the cars. Vauxhall just puts their badge on.
it all depends on what you need/want out of a car. i like hatchbacks and in my opinion it is of way better value than the other ones. better gas mileage, plenty of space, etc. there are a lot of people that like the rabbit/golf/gti better and i understand that. i bought the astra for gas mileage and in my opinion a better overall feel. everything in the rabbit/golf is way too far from the driver imo. i'm frickin' 6'2" and i'm saying that. btw anybody that bitches about the backseat is a fatass
No. Dude, seriously. I have OWNED (not just driven) 23 different European manufactured cars including VW, Opel, BMW, Triumph, Jaguar, Saab, and Volvo. I've driven countless others, from Simca and Yugo to Alfa and Porsche. Believe me when I say you know nothing about cars. And you nothing about Americans. So, excuse me, but you stfu...
you know whats funny, its the same exact car as the vauxhall/opel astra. your intelligence amazes me, they just imported the car to the USA. and i am seriously considering this car, you wanna know why? because there is a 2008 three door model fully loaded used with 650 miles on it for $12,999, or about 6500 pounds. this car is an insane deal over here.
i dont get all the hate....i mean, i've never liked saturn, but i have to say, this car is kind of making me change my mind. i'm a first time buyer, and im really considering this thing
In the united states its simply the VW GTi. We don't have the Golf in America, we have the Rabbit. And I'm sorry we don't have the ability to enjoy your nice small cars because, see, in America we have a lot more room, and pride ourselves on larger cars. Thus, there was no demand for small cars and they simply sucked. The models you can buy we can't,so we have no idea what we are missing. Higher energy costs are changing this. Hopefully I got this through YOUR thick almighty European skull
really? saturn is opel now, not the crappy company it used to be. do you know what is opel? no? i knew it. next time do research so people don't laugh at your ignorance. im not american btw
It's an Opel isn't it?

what do you mean "yuck a saturn"? there hasn't been a car original to saturn since the ion.
the aura, astra, vue- opels/vauxhalls
the outlook- a chevy
the sky- the shit pontiac solstice
in this case, you should have said "yuck, a vauxhall"
coolerdude44 2 years ago
Actually "yuck, a opel" because opel is the main brand in this group of brands.
derbigpr500 2 years ago
opel and vauxhall is the same thing, except vauxhall has the vxr8 (you'd know it as the pontiac g8, except theirs has more power)

Who can remember the famous shit box Lada ?
fillou4 3 years ago
Lada is so bad Tet owning one is actually cool.
If it breaks (when it breaks sorry) you need one hammer 10m steel wire and one liter of glue. Than you can drive it another +/- 5 km.
Than you can sleep 1-2h extra every day and tell your boss that your car brake down..
And... your car is so ugly that when you park.. Nobody has parkt they're car near to you.
Lada is COOL... LOL
