went into the hospital tonight with a mate, was quite hallowing walking round empty buildings that used to contain people with mental problems, couldnt get round to the main part which was a bit of a shame cuz security containers were too close to it, thinking of going tommorow to see if we can get in a different way, i just cant be bothered with dogs ha ha

Haven't been in this part of England.We have so many closed mental hospitals in the USA too.Some were HUGE!!Here's one example one that looks very European in the Kirkbride design.Google Danvers Mental Hosp in Mass.

went in today while the demolition team were there mad as we never got seen till we were abt to leave the place is nowt but a shell most ov it has gone the water tower his untouched we got to the top but it full ov pigon s..t its sad to see all that history gone its criminal to let it get demolished security called the police but they were sound even let me off with 2 defective tyres

@RideTheLightning1995 I have been at night with a friend 2 weeks ago (Monday 13 June 2011) yes there is security, but a huge gap in the steel fence. If you dont get close to hospital main building, there are plenty more buildings around to explore

my great grandma was a nurse here. i live not fa away. it is soooooo freaky, my granda found a dead patient in the fields nearby wen he was walkin the dog years ago. he hd escaped and died of hypotheria. goodness so creepy. great film
