i use to be a huge,huge,huge fan of this show, but that was 3 or 4 years ago, but now it is so lame, and sucky, now it is michael jackson, and the jackson family, and my new most favorite singer, lee greenwood
I sang the first demo of this in 1989. I wasn't right for it and not country enough and so Lee requested a redo with a male voice. And a really great country singer named Gerry someone (I think) redid it and Lee liked it and recorded and released it with very different phrasing than what I had done. But I never knew it was on a TV show! Way to go Larry Wayne Clark! (the writer and a really nice man).
@noname8054 Wow. I thought seeing Tom Jones three times was a lot. You must be a very dedicated fan and I'm sure he appreciates it. I never knew this song had been done on this show. I was the demo singer for this song to go to him in 1989, and I seriously am NOT a country singer. I was trying to find another one I did for the same songwriter when I came across the lyrics & there were wrong. It's "There's a calm before the storm in the DEEP BLUE OF YOUR EYES" (not deep blue water rise, lol!).
Great pictures! I don`t know Lee Greenwood and I don`t like Chuck Norris, but I recognize some famous native actors like Adam Beach (Yummy, despite his long hair ;-))), August Schellenberg and - may be - Eddie Spears???
@Peeres70 he appeals to me because he's a damn good actor; i collect all his movies but i;m a guy so it;s nothing personal ha ha but no matter u have a right to ur own opinion;
@Peeres70 I don't believe Eddie was in this episode, but Zahn McClarnon is for sure, along with Nick Ramus. I didn't recognize Nick Ramus the 1st time I saw this episode because I'm used to seeing him as Black Kettle on Dr. Quinn. I also,until recently, thought that Lee Greenwood wasn't a real singer, and somebody the show just made up. LOL! Love this episode though.,
@Peeres70 Also, something I forgot to mention, Eddie would have only been about 13 in this episode. :) Though I did see somebody who resembled him (sitting next to Adam)...weird!

@PetraKenobi I meant 13 at the time this episode was filmed.
