But the original version, and i'm talking bout the b-side of the european version of the single "never before" is not blues cept for gillan part. Blackmore played a kind of pop music without soul. Yes morse can play fast, but I prefer Blackmore´s solo, it has SOUL. Is a Sad song, and the freaking guy just play a lots of notes at the speed of light. I prefer the slow and sweety ones. But just my personal taste.

You should get the DVD - called "Perihelion". Saw more than 20 DP Gigs.

Maybe one of the best concerts of DP ( All other can say what they want - Steve is a ( the ) significant improvement - even he ( has to ) play some liks from RB.

@lespaul2689 Allow me to disagree. Several years ago I thought that leaving Richie Blackmore of Deep Purple ended the history of this group. However, Steve Morse is a good guitarist. They do not play like Ritchie, Because he is not a Ritchie. The departure of John Lord of Deep Purple survived very hard. I thought that whoever will succeed him it will not be Deep Puprle that the band should change its name. But enough for two concerts in Poland would continue to love this band.

And a little part of me would love to see a huge commerical tour with him back in the band but Steve Morse is doing a great job for far more than a decade now in the band.
