@ChewbaccaRenee they are making a remake but it will be done by the same people who made the originals and Brad Dourif will return to voice chucky once again the only difference is that its going to be a much more darker and scarier movie more than the first one because they said they want to sway away from the comedy that seed of chucky had so this one will be scarier and with the advancement in animatronics technology chucky it will be better their will not be any CGI in this movie also....

At 4:50 where they're talking on how chucky was becoming more humane his face was changing. When I watched child's play one. I didn't see that. The changes in the face that is.

You only notice it when the doll goes from Katatonic state till he begins to move. When chucky reveals himself to be alive he rarely goes into a Katatonic state until like...when he's in the elevator with the old couple. You can see that he went from the sweet innocent good guy look, to, that ugly human like facial detailed look that the old lady insulted, "Ugly Doll"
