"The Beach" is a great movie (one of my favorites btw) but I don't understand why it is so underrated! Great landscapes, great storyline, great actors and, of course, an unforgettable soundtrack...It's a masterpiece that deserves so much more attention!

It's a moment to collect yourself, look into yourself, connect with the divine (whatever name you put to it) and to be thankful for what you have, and to not worry so much about what you don't. As a side note, having been medicated for 7 years of my life, in my experience, drugs, prescription or otherwise, will never bring you inner peace.

Such a magical place (Thailand) as a gap year youngster, a runaway, a career or life change it still changes people each day. I loved 'The Beach' and I love Thailand. Big love!!!

I watched 'The Beach' way back when and decided to visit Thailand and some more SE Asia for six weeks IN 2004. I spent two weeks as a beach bum on Koh pha ngan, smoked, made love, but got robbed too. Still the best trip of my life. I got to go back to Thailand and SE Asia w/ my best friend two years later in 2006 for three weeks. Man this music takes me back...
