Saw them at La Cigalle in Pigalle, Paris July 89 along with The Felt and the La's amazing gig, in the middle of Bye Bye Badman someone let a tear gas canister off mid mosh pit and everyone cleared out. When it cleared Ian Brown came back on stage saying "You should sucked a lemon like me".

Visited Place Saint-Michel on a recent visit to Paree. The Roses turned me on to so much, the Situationists & Paris Riots being one of so many. This is one of my favourite songs. 'In this citrus-sucking sunshine, I don't care...'
