Zimbabwe is the only country in the world who did not vote for sanctions against Yugoslavia in 1992. We are forever grateful for that. Country Serbia and Serbian people are always with you. Lived Zimbabwe!
l am 11 years old and l am in australia with family and l just heard this song l just cried becuase l miss hom where my whole family is and l just will feel happy l have family who loves me and l just miss that so to the guy who wrote this song thnx for showing everyone that zimbabwe is there
0:50 for a country with the very worst inflation rates and financial mismanagement on the planet, this anthem still manages to be uplifting and unifying through it all. This young Canadian wishes the best on all Africans (except for warlords with AK-47s who drug children into their dark service, Hutus with machetes and the like...but let's hope they'll learn from their mistakes). The world would do well to learn from people like you. Even we in the west may need your advice very soon.
@CdeTakawira it's 'infamous' in Uncle Bob's eyes - one of the things that got Olonga into trouble in the end - trying to show unity between black and white...

TO all my zim brother's God bless, may we all return home one day to our land in peace. To build a true people's nation of all born in our land and bring true peace and prosperity
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO FIND LYRICS OF THIS?! :O doing a project over thiscountry, this song is amazing, and i just wanna sing this song WHILE presenting project! if you know where to find the lyrics IN SHONA, tell me plz! thanx!
@mangwanani Hi, do you have the lyrics in shona and /or indebele please, I´m also from Zims and didn,t learn proper shona or indebele, my granny spoke all the dialects of africa, including swahili, I´m so ashamed and disapointed in my self for not having learnt from her´, this song is beautiful.
The answers to our problems do not lie with the USA or Canada. We are the only ones who can solve our own problems with God's help and guidance. We are a prayerful people and God is already making our crooked paths straight, we just don't know it or can't see that yet. In order to forge steel it has to go through fire, but it comes out smooth and strong, so shall we. Be encouraged. Keep on praying.
@Ruva212 I see where you're coming from, and as Zimbabweans it is our job to sort it out. However, we do need UK/US -Zim Partnerships, and assistance from the Western world. It is not possible to do it on our own, as strong as we may be there is only so much we can do!
@Ruva212 Amen Ruva212, the faith of the people is great, and God will continue to give you the strength to see it through. Many of the people my parents trained there are now pastors and leaders, leading churches, orphanages, and communities, working to hold the people together. You can be sure that one day I will be back to such a beautiful country.
we are lucky that we were able to go to better contreis but seeing everybody struggle i cant help seeing that happen.i wish that U.S.A and Canada would help also just not south africaim trying to influence my church to start raising money for zimbabwe if u want to help ask ur church to help support zimbabwe
@pspfan4life90 ummmm we can't help every single person in the world but i would love to lee that cause it'd bring peace... but the world cannot be like that with over religous countries and terrible leaders so yeah
this song, just makes me want to go home. i miss it so much. my home will always be zim, if only mugabe would grow up and see what he is doing to the most beautiful place on this earth. such a lovely song.
ndarangarira mazuva ataitamba muroad neshamwari dzangu. wen we used to wear nice uniforms and drink milk at skul. hm, u may find it funny but that was real, and it changed so fast, my little brother will never understand how life just completely changed. 35 years ago I lived in this beautiful country. This song makes me all the memories come back and I'm longing for going there again, in reality it seems to be impossible for this lifetime. It's sad.
whoever rules, the current national anthem should stay. How can u keep on changing everything. That's our problem: change 4 the sake of it. There will always be a nice song, my friend, even after this. Will u change again? Ndokusaka our constitution ine hobho machanges. We want real change, not debatable cosmetic change. MDC=ZPF

I hope everything work out for you guys' country. You deserve to go home and visit the country you know, love and grew up in. I am Zambian and I am not happy with what is happening in Zimbabwe. It is a beatiful country. This song makes me feel patriotic and I am not even Zambabwan.
Thank you Navigatro. I've actually met ppl from neighbouring countries (particularly Zed) who r happy at what is happening in Zim because it has brought economic opportunies for them. One comment I've heard was, "Mugabe's the best president Zambia's ever had" which really hurt. While I' happy 2 see Zed succeed, i think that comment ws insensitive, considering hw much ppl are suffering. So it's nice there are some in solidarity with us. We as Africans need to be more supportive of each other.
