@thekyriakos GPU was at 1040mhz, cpu was at 4.2ghz aswell, memory was at 1600 aswell with timing as tight as I could pull them, I spent a good 2 hours tweeking the system getting as much umph as I could out of it, fresh install of win7 x64 on a SSD with only drivers and 3DM isntalled. That's how. ;)

i think he used both msi after burner to raise the voltage and atitray tools for overclocking. i would suggest rivatuner for overclocking part since your not limited but rivatuner does not support the 5800 series yet or it's drivers. but anyways he used msi after burner and ati tray tools i think it's called

also even if the game does not have AF on in the menu or so if it's forced through drivers meaning af is on no matter if the menu in game or test,ect is off..also there still beta drivers and not mature,so expect father improved performance in time^^
i didn't know 3dmark forces it off,but i will try it some time when i run it.i currently have a 4870 but i'm getting a 5870 in like a week,so that's when i test out some benchies again :P

@bob333336 No in games you get 1-3 frames more when oced and with the new catalyst .
But you have better stability with the oc with the new drivers .
With the 3 older drivers my oc froxed but with the new I havent exprerienced a single problem !

This was on 9.12 drivers. And I would say keep what you have and wait for the HD6xxx cards coming out later this year.

i got 21,697 which is not bad i personally think. i noticed a big boost coming from an e8400 with my 5870(with this test)

I figured this out earlier, in 3DMark06, it actually forces it off, even if you enable it via drivers. Try it out, its funny.
