I'm not a vegetarian, but I love people who are, and support them. I hate when products are tested on animals, or fur, or anything like that. I, however, do not think dissection is pointless...in college. In high school, no one really learns from it unless they plan to be pre-med.

the point of a dissection is to get a feel for what your looking at and fyi in medical school to DISSECT a HUMAN!!! aduh the only reason you didnt learn from a dissection is cuz you probably didnt care. i learn ALOT from a dissection and why i want to go to medical or vet school

& last year the entire grade had to dissect frogs, and I was the only one out of over 100 kids who didn't dissect. It's just stupid. o___O;;

i didn't take biology in high school just for the fact that they disected cats and baby pigs. the only thing i ever had to disect in middle school and elementary school was owl pellets or whatever their throw up is called. that i'm okay with. lol.
