Sure, a new version will be a far stretch; but after seeing films like Ed Wood, I'm hoping Mr. B won't make a mess of it.

But I can think of plenty of others who would do a worse job....Just hope for the best. The whole thing can sound like a disaster at first, but when I really think about it, I can /actually/ picture a good remake coming out of this one (unlike with older horror flicks and such)

When people think "BURTON FILM", the first composer that comes to mind is Danny Elfman (of course...). But in films like Ed Wood and Sweeney Todd, original scores and compositions were used, (reorchestrated) so it's hard to say.
