backside is when you approach the rail, ledge or curb with your ass pointing towards it. so it is a backside.

@Ishbu101 noseslides is your tail hanging off as if your were standing on it,noseblunts are the one as if you were a dog peeing,so it means that your tail is in the middle of up and right.

@Ishbu101 nose blunts are done with the nose of your board pointing toward the ground, whereas nose slides are done with the nose being pointed into the ledge. noseblunts are the the slide equivilent of overcrooks or lipslides.

These are the 2nd grind ive learned next to 50-50's. Your gunna want to know how to get up and stick to the rail or w/e so always make sure you can do a nose stall and stay on it straight up to it. Once u can do that well try it slow, go parallel and then yo want to spin and really push ur nose into it and it should lock and slide.

Jacob, I am afraid your understanding of what frontside and backside are is a bit misaligned. On a grind/slide frontside or backside have nothing to do with which way you spin. It only has to do with which side of your body is facing the ledge/rail. If your toes are pointing towards the ledge, no matter which way you spin, it's frontside. Though this is not true for tricks without a grind, such as flip tricks, Which are determine by which way your spinning.
