2 great shots Cazzie. On the down run loved the way the smoke and steam shot skywards out of the bridge. On the Up run Britannia had real pace. Nice stuff Barry
Out of all the locomotives based at South Hall right now 70000 has the best record of making her scheduled trips since mid-July with no flaws. A big day fopr Britannia. I hope we get to see more of her on the VSOE in the future. Having a 35028 and 70000 rotation might be a great thing. Each locomotive could rotate their duties and pull excursion trains. 35028 doesn't get to pull trains outside the VSOE realm very often.
I really am starting to enjoy this steamer too. The main reason, its the people who operate her. They are pleasing the passengers on the train and also rewarding those who come out to see them go by. Regardless of her being the locomotive she is, fans everywhere shall enjoy going out to see her and ride behind.
