So does the car do everything on its own or do you control how fast it goes? and how fast does it go? Im just curious because im going back to Disney soon and would like to go on this :))

@1mpyles You can steer the car, but it is on a guide track so that you can only go forward along the line. I would say you can move the car left to right about a foot or two in either direction. This way you can not bump the cars next to you. You also control the accelerator so you can slow down or speed up as you wish.

I was here in 2009 and I drove this one cart here and it doesn't steer at all, Because the pin inside the steering assembly was missing! LOL!

I went on this...my 5 year old sister was better than 12 year old me...! I was bumping crashing...nearly fell out if it weren't for me seatbelt...the force i was stopping and starting was wicked

So do not like this one. It's cute and great when you're under the age of 11. Past that, if you have a real car or are old enough to hit a go-kart track, do yourself a favor and skip the long line. Maybe if the ride were shorter or the cars went a little faster.

i hated this ride.the car is on a track and goes 1 mile per hour.six flags carts is way better.i suggest rpm indoor racing.much faster like 70 miles per hour.

Funny, the last time I went on this my two oldest were in front of me and I thought they must have been the worst drivers in the world, but it ends up the went around the entire track without holding the wheel. They were about to cry they were laughing so hard from bumping side to side. If you are trying not to bump though you just have to work at driving it like a real car, and most of the way you should be good if you get a feel for it. Though some cars are worse than others.

The best time to go is first thing in the morning after the rope drops. Often cooler temperature wise and the line is still short.

@peeps628 another good time to get on is at night, me and brother went on it without waiting, or without much anyway, and there weren't many people on the ride at all so we just kept going around and around. Btw, we were on like an hour before the park closed. We missed out on some rides because we went around it so many times! :-]

Yeah, the video is actualy cut a bit short because my son was in front of us and kept stopping. It was harder than we thought for him to reach the pedals. (This was his first solo drive)

i know, when i was a kid about 5 years ago on that ride i could hardly reach, i was doing a good clip and my foot would just slide off the pedal. then i would instantly stop and get hit by the guy behind us.
