I live in new zealand, and I have been to America and Canada,and know I am living in Canada, also I am 12 and living here in Canada is not that much different at all really. Only a few changes, the biggest one is that there is not an ocean or beach were ever town or city you go to in America or Canada. and you get free health care and dentail care if your under 18 in new zealand. Plus it does'nt get really cold in New Zealand, when i first cane to Canada it was really hot then really cold.

@alagodny28 It is a very tough question... I haven't been to the Western Europe or USA, so I can't compare NZ with them. But I can say like this. What is important for you in your life? Time or money (including a job)?? If you think that money is important, you can choose other countries.

You will be here in the New Zealand summer to autumn with those dates. We have a temperate climate. There will only be snow in the alps. You will be able to swim in the sea. You will perhaps need a light jacket or jumper when going out in the evenings towards the end of your stay. Rain is common on the West coast, and the capital Wellington is often quite windy.

I'm gonna be playing music on a cruise ship from Jan 18th-April. We're gonna be starting off in Auckland NZ. We then hit ports all down the west coast. Then over to Aussie land. Is NZ gonna be warm, cold, or mild at this time? By the look of all the snowy photos, I can't tell what to expect. I'm also a photographer, and I'm going to be shooting as insane amount of photos. So...what can I expect for weather?

Thanks mo.Thats right u kiwis call it tramping not bloody scamping lol.Plenty of places on both islands but mainly on the south as it has the best walks,scenery and Qtown,Milford area have some amazing hikes.

It rains here a lot more, I would say it is similar to Auckland in a way, also the weather in London can be like Auckland as the sun will shine and then it will start to rain again, quite patchy on certain days.
