this is the live version of sick sad little world. I know that some folks below me have realized that already but yeah, this song is fucking incredible live. like seriously
Not to diminish this jam bc I think it's rad, but it's not genuinely improved; part of it (the percussion) can be heard on the Look Alive bonus cd, the song "Dance In a Triangle." Not to mention, they privately practice this stuff so they're all synched when they play it live.
@rask8ter14 YOu are totally right. I had no idea until I heard the rest of the video. I made a comment too early x]. The problem with live105 is that they play all the ruddy mainstream songs and NEVER anything off of SCIENCE, or MY(save stellar), which does not do Incubus justice. Good catch on the song again.
if you watch a jam from a great jam band it is much better than this, but i just recently started to appreciate these guys for what they do. If you want to see a great live jam, look at some trey anastasio, or one of the best of all time to see jam live is the allman brothers band. but this is not bad, they are vibin'
Blues traveler is an awesome live-jam band too. Or at least they used to be, I dont know about now since Chad died. This jam here reminds me of a band I discovered on Austin City Limits called "Explosions in the sky". Really interesting stuff.
Excellent jam session...i absollutely love this band. They´re creative, talented and don´t have affraid to take the risc to be different and try new things...Each album that they record are different of the last one...They´re the PERFECT BAND...Kudos!!!
Once you get past brandons percussion at the begginning, the excellent bass (very excellent, good ol' Ben Kenney), brilliant drumming and equally cool guitar.
I love the bit whith the harmonics, Mike does some cool stuff there.

Listen to Jambands... A good band to start off with is Umphrey's Mcgee. They sound a lot like this live.
