Eliminate all Fed & State income tax, which penalize production and promotes loopholes, pay-off favoritism & shenanigans. Fair Tax is the only way. Fair Tax puts all taxing on the consumption side. Necessities could be tax-free, G4s, yachts & Ferrari's could have a higher rate. Also, foreign tourists, drug dealers, & criminals would have to pay taxes on almost everything they buy, whereas they now pay no income tax at all. Properly set up, Fair Tax would explode production & Govt. revenues.
On unions, I agree the wizards of oz designed a grand plan. The fact that public sector wages and benies far outpaced private over the last 20 years was purposeful and purposefully unsustainable. @cbr6864 Thats true, and like right now were in the big bubble, because there's not enough work while the schools are still pumping out apprentices..My God..in Oregon alone guys have been on the books for 2+ years waiting for work..and we all know even though construction workers get paid the most, maitenence is where it's at cause you can come home every night. But the unions are stepping down from the all powerful ppl and just walking away with no increases in pay so -economy were losing $.
@snowfallzz the unions are not perfect by any means, its true they keep putting out new apprentices so they can collect more dues. like everything in life there will be some corruption, this is mainly due to the fact most members dont use their voice so the same people remain in office. if all the members took a stand things would be different. be they are not perfect but the unions are the best chance we have at getting a fair deal
I agree with many points in this video, especially regarding the unions. What people tend to forget is that the unions were responsible for raising the living standards of US workers as a whole, whether you were unionized or not. Also, I appreciate your word of caution regarding the events transpiring in Egypt. It could very well be a grass roots response to this very repressive + dictatorial regime. On the other hand, destabilization of the region, was a neo-con goal.
Yes, GREEN energy sources, like their brains. Even though oil is abiotic, meaning it replenishes itself. And climate change is caused by the sun, people barely contribute to it.
And gun control, lol, don't get me started on that nonsense.
Egypt tortures. I suspect there are young men now being tortured in jail and we Americans give over a billion a year to that dictatorship. This building up of bad karma has been going on for a long long time.
The US and Israel are urging Hosni Mubarak to do everything in his power to end the riots/revolution. The dictatorship of Hosni Mubarak was installed, is funded, and is maintained by the US, the Egyptian government is the second largest recipient of US aid after terrorist apartheid entity of Israel. The Egyptian/Tunisian revolutions weren't planned and they do NOT benefit the US/Israel.
@0xTRX007 I did not say that they did, specifically in this video. I did in the one about Tunisia though not Israel directly in that one either.. Destabilization is a Brzezinski plan. His idea of control is to have everything Balkanized into ethnic blocks. I have to express that this could indeed be something manufactured. It could easily benefit long term agendas.
Well if you put it that way then It makes sense, even though it started as a grass roots movement it could be used to further destabilize the whole region.
@0xTRX007 Actually if you watch the video I say quite specifically that IF it is a grass roots thing and is done FOR the people BY the people I'm all for it. I do not say that it is for sure a planned or orchestrated thing, but one must accept the possibility.
I do think the Egyptian revolution is a grass roots movement since the US & Israel are urging Mubarak to use any means necessary to stop the revolution, also if regime change happens in Egypt and Mubarak is overthrown that means the Gaza/Rafah crossing will be opened and the much needed aid could easily go into Gaza, and that's the last thing Israel wants
What's going on in Egypt didn't just start 4 days ago. It's been building for at least a couple years. It just needed a catalyst to unify the people. I think that catalyst was Tunisian success in ousting their dictator.
That doesn't mean that this can't or won't be used to other ends though.
who benefits by an unstable middle east, after the coup, why will it be destabilized .once they get rid of american influence they can become stable(with food for the people)egypt has the canal that controls commerce for the world.chinese and russian money look a lot better than they once did.we have lost control of the canal now, today.green back looking like the titanic.no jobs, paulsin makes 5 billion.
@ducklamb1 If a real government is installed that is of, for and by the people and is not invaded by the IMF and world bank and is not a puppet regime of some other nation then it would be great. I am not optimistic for Egypt or Tunisia.
@tenebroust i agree, iran is the culprit with the religious influence (because religion will unite people when nothing else will)political clout, and lots of soldiers and arms.and they are right there with china and russia.and turkey, who i think is next or real soon.but iran is that other nation, but i guarantee they will feed the people, and the people will fall behind them.
No it is not the Unions. Weak as they are now, it is the unions that keep the middle class wages stable and hanging by a strand from wallstreet greed. Dependable pensions are of the past for it is risky hedge funds of 401k's is the present. - More guns equals less crime. Open carry is the deterrent of future intensions of wrong doing. - self sustaining power of the sun is the way.
If the Cowards that Be actually managed to ban guns, it would result in the average American being stuck between two rabid, merciless groups of criminals WITH GUNS and no means by which to defend themselves... The worst of those two groups being, of course, the Cowards that Be who worked to ban guns in the first place!
I have never thought of that idea of lower corporate taxes, if a factory is opened on US soil. However, how about creating a corporate income tax rate scale related to how many American employees they hire? For example, company x hired 300, so the corporate income tax would be lowered 10%.
@popcur Iactually mentioned that in the video. It's a sound idea. Tax breaks for the mega rich too for fostering productivity, WITH PROOF, of job creation, factory building, etc...
Unions have finally got people up to snuff, and people think that it's too much. As compared to who?? You, and I imagine that your exactly where you should be according to your boss and you. That's pretty funny and if I were that person I wouldn't go around proud of being an idiot. You ain't getting what your worth and what your buying with it ain't worth the money you spend. I may just be a shit shoveler but guess who's doing it if I decide to quit, hmmm??.... Guess who!! LOL...
@theoriginalprisonerX People are being conditioned to think that because person A down the road has a "union" job and earns X amount of money and has a retirement plan and they don't it is a reason to suppose that unions have somehow made them be in the position they are in. It's crazy.
@tenebroust Of course people must realize when they go back and learn history all over since they didn't teach it in school, that "unions" have been demonized by big business since their inception. This was especially insidious during the Roosevelt administration in the 30's and 40's where anyone can see newsreels of them sitting around plotting against him and the unions, this is fact. And a 100 years ago the Labor movement was huge, people were sick of being abused, not so much anymore.
Yup people.... lets just leave the control of guns... in the hands of our govn't. Won't that just make us all feel safe? I'll take my chances with the crazed numbskulls out there. The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
The unions may not be the heart of the problem, but neither are the corporations . Nor is the Gov. The real problems are with the people who allowed all this to happen in the first place. It is unethical and unfair to take something that does not belong to you. There are laws in place that are not being held to, or backed up. By overtaxing one group and not the other that is unfair. On the other hand if proven to be unlawful I see no reason why said funds could not be taken from said corp.
There is enough blame to go around. The main culprits are in Washington, D.C. Then there are those who continue to vote for them. And, of course, there are the owners of our politicians and mainstream media companies. Unfortunately, the people of this country continue to give this system more and more power which allows for more and more corruption, abuse, and enslavement. It is the natural outcome of democracy which our founding slave owners feared. The next phase will be scary as hell.
Its funny how in other countries, when the government and banks screw around, the people there go crazy and start demanding that officials and CEO's heads get cut off, but here, in the US, when this happens, people look for the remote so they can change the channel to something more exciting??? Maybe the people in the US should be taken advantage of, they're obviously too stupid to appreciate what freedom really is..go back to making the Chinese rich, shop at SlaveMart and use your credit card.
The US/Israel do NOT benefit from the removal of Hosni Mubarak, The dictatorship/government of Hosni Mubarak was installed, funded, & maintained by the US government, they're the second largest recipients of US aid after Apartheid Israel. Many US officials including Hillary Rotten Clinton said that the protests need to stop and that Mubarak needs to do everything in his power to stop it. Mubarak was complete Zionist puppet, he has helped Israel in every way possible.
@0xTRX007 Oh don't get me wrong I would not defend a tyrant like Mubarek. I just question the reality of a grass roots movement in a repressive society.
i work for the state, my insuance went up and I had to take a 3% pay cut. Wages didn't go up for the lower middle class, only the cost of food and gas went up.
libertarian conservatives would look at this video and say it's communist to create jobs in America from government regulatory incentives because it defeats free market. why do these people hate american manufacturing? i for one dont mind paying a bit more for made in america.
true, skorea is buliding nuclear power stations. with our 21st century technology we can create safer and more efficient nuclear power stations. higher flux density needed in order to maintain and expand the complexity of the human population civilization.
I do disagree with your UNION thing you sound like you are UNION. UNIONS were needed back in the day not now. I didnt have a union and made damn good money wrenching. UNIONS can not work with mechanics though because we are PAID for performance a new guy can come in and blow 4 others away with his quality of work and make a lot more even if them other 4 were there for 20 years. a UNION wouldnt allow that. I seen a UNION tried in dealerships and it almost cost them then entire business
I agree tenebroust that demonizing workers unions as a whole concept is incredibly foolish (especially considered the record corporate profits), we must also realize that certain unions can go crazy. As people we need to stop jumping between two extreme points of view - Every group is capable of being corrupted - that we have any actual outrage against the concept of "unions" or "government regulations" as crying socialism in america shows how pathetically ignorant our people are.
@RomanV101 Has there been union corruption and violence? YES. But compare it to the thievery and outrageous nature of corporations and do the math. Nothing is perfect and unions are not perfect things either but without them you'd have the Pinkerton's killing you if you thought to strike for a higher wage your master didn't want to give you.
@Docthewrench If there are no more unions then people are at the mercy of big business just like they were when those corporations used the military and private police forces to kill striking workers. We should just trust that filthy, greedy businesses will eagerly give a living wage to their workers. I think not. And I am in a union.
I heard in U.S. theres a law, Nuclear waste Cant be re-used and thats one of the problems-Over regulation? Saw a vid, talks bout computers/wallstreet alowed Fat Cats 2 make huge profits while cutting work force, none of it got kicked down to the Remaining workers-Greed killz). Soon Robots will do most of the work, after the depopulation, peasents have to live in Logans Run Bio Dome eat soylant green, "put to sleep" at the age of 50.
wow that stuff you said about the unions really is straight up. Anytime I hear someone talkin negative about unions I get a little crazy. that's why they opened our boarders so they could bust unions. I wonder how many people ever read the grapes of wrath.
It's about to snap, my man, I don't want to go back to factory labor... and with the technology we have wouldn't be enough to bring the labor force up to what it once was. China is last state to have human slaves on the manufacturing line. Where we go from here... hold onto your ass because forces outside man's control is going to pave the way to that new road that we cannot fully comprehend just yet. Money will become a once upon a time bad dream.
Green energy like Wind and solar is only really good for home energy, as for America being built up, they will let America go the same way as Argentina or Fall out 3/New Vegas (Video Games, look them up) minus the Nuclear war before they even imagine spending for the good of America.
It's amazing that the union bashing still works in a country that has seen union participation go from 35% to a current 11%. I read that a recent poll in Poland found that the overwhelming majority thinks that the Jews still control the country and are responsible for their problems even though there are no Jews left. The US has a similar blame the unions pathology. Also, the top marginal tax rate for these wealthy MFing criminals needs to go back up to 90%+.
steven chu recently mentioned his support for MNRs. That is Modular Nuclear Reactors. The way it is looking GE is going to revise its plans for the powerplants put into nuclear subs for use at extraction and intensive manufacturing centers. Then they will probably build a factory or retrofit a shipyard for this. These units would be standardized by designed for a 20 year fuel cycle and exported. However, they are looking at sales rather than lease. Leasing on something like that makes more sense
@azezel2311 I would prefer a lease fleet under the supervision of the department of the navy with GE as a contractor for the manufacture. Training, staffing, clearance and site management would all be done by the department of the navy with a NRC and DOE review/approval(fee). The navy has the safety record, training, support system and the revenue need for this. The size of the lease fleet should be about 10000 units. Chu believes that 100mw is enough. I think a scalable LFTR would be better.
I think the men behind the curtain know that the day they ban all civilian firearm is the day they lose their power. People won't stand for it, most of the people in the NRA are cops and military not to mention the amount of money the military industrial complex makes from selling firearms to civilians. The gun manufacturers are part of the MIC and they have a lot of power in Washington. I think they stir up fears of gun confiscation to sell more guns and ammo a lot of times.
they want to get rid of the unions because they are one of the last remaining working-mans groups that can actually make a decent living, and since the unions are now controled by an national body (who are the suits in washington) union benefits are slowing being eroded away, even by the dems who claim to support the unions
i like your rant but i disagree with the nuclear energy i think the best would be to build homes that are not on the grid like the earthships . they could and would cut energy needs way down and make it so things are not on a consolidated grid . food sewage energy ( solar wind geothermal ) . nuclear is just adding to the consolidation of power imho .
Damn your kick ass,it'd be great if you made 10 vids a day,I love the no Bullshit approach, its too bad I lost my will to make videos,or id be doing the same, thumbs way up

0xTRX007 1 year ago
@0xTRX007 If that turns out to be true I will be very happy. I'm just not holding my breath.

For example, company x hired 300, so the corporate income tax would be lowered 10%.
popcur 1 year ago

Guess who!! LOL...
theoriginalprisonerX 1 year ago
@theoriginalprisonerX People are being conditioned to think that because person A down the road has a "union" job and earns X amount of money and has a retirement plan and they don't it is a reason to suppose that unions have somehow made them be in the position they are in. It's crazy.
tenebroust 1 year ago
@tenebroust Of course people must realize when they go back and learn history all over since they didn't teach it in school, that "unions" have been demonized by big business since their inception. This was especially insidious during the Roosevelt administration in the 30's and 40's where anyone can see newsreels of them sitting around plotting against him and the unions, this is fact. And a 100 years ago the Labor movement was huge, people were sick of being abused, not so much anymore.
theoriginalprisonerX 1 year ago

Docthewrench 1 year ago
@Docthewrench
RomanV101 1 year ago
@RomanV101 Has there been union corruption and violence? YES. But compare it to the thievery and outrageous nature of corporations and do the math. Nothing is perfect and unions are not perfect things either but without them you'd have the Pinkerton's killing you if you thought to strike for a higher wage your master didn't want to give you.
tenebroust 1 year ago
@Docthewrench If there are no more unions then people are at the mercy of big business just like they were when those corporations used the military and private police forces to kill striking workers. We should just trust that filthy, greedy businesses will eagerly give a living wage to their workers. I think not. And I am in a union.

AND
"The National Methane Hydrates R&D Program

It's about to snap, my man, I don't want to go back to factory labor... and with the technology we have wouldn't be enough to bring the labor force up to what it once was. China is last state to have human slaves on the manufacturing line. Where we go from here... hold onto your ass because forces outside man's control is going to pave the way to that new road that we cannot fully comprehend just yet. Money will become a once upon a time bad dream.

Leasing on something like that makes more sense
azezel2311 1 year ago

I think they stir up fears of gun confiscation to sell more guns and ammo a lot of times.

they want to get rid of the unions because they are one of the last remaining working-mans groups that can actually make a decent living, and since the unions are now controled by an national body (who are the suits in washington) union benefits are slowing being eroded away, even by the dems who claim to support the unions
lowrider1007 1 year ago
i like your rant but i disagree with the nuclear energy i think the best would be to build homes that are not on the grid like the earthships . they could and would cut energy needs way down and make it so things are not on a consolidated grid . food sewage energy ( solar wind geothermal ) . nuclear is just adding to the consolidation of power imho .
