I'm guessing he's playing from the piano trio version (in D instead of E). That's the version I really want to get to play as the interaction between violin & cello is to die for. Nice rendition, but you really need to avoid obvious open strings in parlour music if you can. It also means you have less of an issue with open string intonation problems.
Ya I have to agree look at the way he turns just strokes the string a little. Maybe he just has bad hearing. Some of his notes seem kinda sharp in the higher positions.

don't do last min tuning or warm up. it will spoil the mood. anyways, it is perfect
