  • @QuantumQuacks shut up..troll

  • This is already legal in CA if you have a RX. This is why Prop. 19 didn't pass. Just too many pot grower and pothead wanted deregulation.

  • @QuantumQuacks That stuff does happen but I think we can both agree that it's much rarer than you are making it out to be. And also so what? Shouldn't people have the right to ingest whatever they want as long as it's not hurting anyone else? It's their body and you want to keep it illegal because it's 'potentially' dangerous? Then let's make cigarettes illegal and alcohol illegal. Hell, why stop there. Let's outlaw fast food and driving because some people get hurt doing that. *rolls eyes*

  • @QuantumQuacks Yeah, you're right. A lot of the big selling growers are violent BECAUSE it's illegal. The gangs want to protect their profits. If it were legal then it would put all of those criminal organizations here and across the border out of a lot of their business. We would gain money through taxing it and save money from spending a ton on the DEA (40% of their business is weed) and from all of the non-violent pot users that fill our prisons that the tax payers are all paying for.

  • @QuantumQuacks National Highway Traffic Safety Administration - Drivers under the influence of alcohol alone (about 40 percent of the sample) were significantly more likely than drug-free drivers to be deemed responsible for their accidents. But drivers under the influence of marijuana alone (about 1 percent of the sample) were no more likely than drug-free drivers to be deemed responsible. "There was no indication that cannabis by itself was a cause of fatal crashes," the report says.

  • It didn't pass. It was a very good chance that those who were going to vote for Prop 19 were too high to make it to the polls or mail in their ballots. Whatever the case I am sure it will discourage those who wish to smoke marijuana from continuing to do so. And I am sure that the status quo (those who currently grow and deal pot to the law enforcement establishment and business who receive billlions per year to "fight it") are happy that it is still against the law.

  • shes so full of shit!!! i do because i have too bull shit....

  • Did any body notice the dildo shaped pipe... Lol. U b

  • omfg

    wtf

    KILL URSELF

  • No worse than alcohol ..?? Say that to anyone that has lost a family member, spouse, or friend to a drunk driver. We need to be careful were we go with this.

  • I gave up after 0:01 - stick your fucking adverts

  • Each to their own in my view, it is no worse that alcohol and that is legal.

  • one question: if weed didnt get u high would there be such an uproar against it. the reason its illegal is because it opens ure mind and allows u to see things you would never realize.

  • 'Time to clean house' (as they say in the US!)

  • I am thinking you should smoking jews not marjewana yes please thanking your listen.

  • cant function without weed.......i hear that

  • c.j denton? what a shame

  • @LTBL88 Oh my God, CJ, a bomb!

  • not to mention California would get lots of tourists coming in cause of weed being legal

  • i swear if they legalize i will take a chainsaw, cut cali loose and tow it to the east coast

    or i'll just move there

  • Marijuana isn't really medicine. It's just an anesthetic. It relieves symptoms instead of treating a condition. Don't you find it funny it can pretty much be used for dozens and dozens of conditions? Smoking opium can "cure" a fever too.

  • @Kamikazeesouled

Yeah, its like listening to hardcore addicts talking like using methadone isnt really misusing drugs...

  • All this scares me. Scares me for the future of humanity.

  • Yeah, and we think the economy is screwed up now. We might as well hand over the mantle of 'world's superpower' to China and save everybody the trouble.

  • Dr Dupont the ex drug czar, has not been taken seriously since '78. He never comes up with any evidence for any of his claims.

It is a plant. You can not overdose on it. and there is a debate over if we can use it?.

Yet with something like Oxycontin which is made and owned by a rich list company,, hmmm don't remember much debate over legalizing that.

  • What movie was that very first clip taken from?

  • @MisterProfiler , badman & robin, 1997, ice and poison ivy

  • @wannaruwae Thnx ;) And the one in which Arnie is smoking a joint? Same?

  • @MisterProfiler, yeah, you can watch, batman on ice, on youtube

  • @wannaruwae Ok, thnx ;)

  • @MisterProfiler that clip when he is smoking the joint is from "pumping iron"

  • @fsfer Never heard of that movie. IMDB here I come!

    Thnx ;)

  • Marijuana is OK.

  • 8:12 she's really cute lol like a little puppy dog

  • Perhaps a little bit of medical marijuana could help Dupont with that large stick up his ass, or at least he could use it to ease the pain after its been surgically removed.

  • Just came back from Holland today. The Coffeeshop culture there is amazing, but still they have well working society and it's a country I'd enjoy living in. Afaik the percentage of people who smoke weed is lower than in other countries where it's illegal.

That just shows that prohibition doesn't work. Not to mention the amount of money the dutch state is making with it.

    LEGALIZE THE GANJA!!

  • Dupont you should get a brain that isn´t so full of shit

  • What is the movie in which he is getting high?

  • fuck that dupont cunt

  • Haha...Angel Raich just likes to get high out of her wits.

  • I agree that commercial marijuana crops should be legalized and regulated, so on that conclusion I completely disagree with DuPont, but not everything he said was invalid, so I don't know why people think he's so "ignorant." He wasn't being malicious in arguing his reservations or in saying that many people are full of BS on this medical marijuana issue, even if he is ultimately wrong about legalization. The only concern I have is if it's possible for police to test drivers for marijuana use.

  • LEGALIZE IT

  • wow that DuPont guy actually pissed me off so much with how ignorant he is

  • States are reluctant to legalize pot because they stand to lose millions or billions of dollars from the government for drug war money, etc. It's political blackmail, you buck Washington DC and they say they will not give your state grant money, etc. Legalization has to come from changes in Congress. Good luck with those tight-ass hypocritical jerks.

  • That DuPont guy was talking and I almost thumbs down'd the video cause he pisses me off haha. But all in all it was a decent vid *thumbs up*

I don't smoke pot or anything at all, but I agree it should be legalized as well. It would be a lot safer. I mean, people are gonna do it anyway, a LOT of people - so why not help the economy, moral, and saftey, by making it legalized? I'm suprised it isn't officially legal in Canada yet. No one really cares about it here lol

  • DuPont's an ASS!!!!!!!!!

  • Hahaha this is sum crazy shiittt!

  • Lucky bastards...

Get rid of all the homosexuals and I just might move there someday....

  • Dr. Robert Dupont is a donkey.

  • THE WHITE MAN MADE WEED ILLEGAL thumbs up if you agree

  • @pundit116

    Jesus loves racist blacks.

  • Weed should be made legal.

I don't smoke the stuff, but its better to make it legal and controlled. Legal money is better then illegal money. Not to mention the medical benefits that is has. You don't even have to smoke it, you can eat too. =D

  • Hippy Land Clifornia is broke, surprise surprise - Whats the Real Issue Here?

  • about 15:45, of course the image of marijuana has to change for people to accept it, all the anti marijuana people have DEMONIZED the image of a plant (for no logical reason relating to the use of the plant itself) that not only helps millions but is also LESS harmful than tobacco and alcohol and probably many other human made medications.

  • lol at 6:15

  • Comment removed

  • not only will they profit from the sale of cannabis, they will save millions and millions on the police and court costs of investigating and charging people for growing. it will keep millions out of the hands of organized crime, if theres no money to fight over theres no fight!

  • @lejink True, but the cops don't want things legal (some do for moral reasons). Cops get paid a lot of over time because of the war on drugs and get a lot of the budget to lock up peaceful pot smokers. Plus, there's the jail industry where many private companies running prisons are friends with politicians, and they lobby against legalization since they'd lose revenue from a lack of prisoners. It's like when prosecutors used to throw innocent people in jail for their jail running buddies.

  • Marijuana really should and NEEDS to be legalized!

Legalization and regulation has, and especially with something like weed, will always work better than prohibiton. Just like with alcohol.

The so called "war on drugs" has been a nightmare for so many non violent and non criminal people, at this point we all know it is one of many smokescreens used by the government to strong arm people... But that's old news.

And I won't even mention the many many uses of industrial hemp.

  • they wont legalize marijuana because the prescription drug industry is booming with their addictive drugs that make you even more sick. If weed was legal, everyone would smoke weed to ease their pains without crazy side effects. The prescription drug industry wants you to have side effects so they can sell you another drug for your side effect. So since weed wont make you sicker, they wont legalize it.

  • People in California are out of touch with reality! Tax evasion will now be the crime associated with marijuana.Lack of human productivity in a state that has tried to push out most manufacturing will be the next reason not to manufacture there.

This is not the answer to CA's financial problems. It will instead deepen them. The whole country is on the wrong road. California is driving in the rocky field!

  • THUMBS UP TO LEGALIZE COCAINE NEXT! :D

  • Its funny how easy it is to get a prescription for Adderall and Oxycontin. yet its almost impossible to get a prescription for weed.

  • LEGALIZE MARIJUANA IN CALI!

  • lol, if we pass the bill, ur ounce of weed will go from $20 to $70. who wants to pay an extra $50 for "legal" weed?

  • @ugotalovetang Because taxes help pay for pulic service and in a democracy everyone is a team player. unless you dont like police, firefighters, emt's, etc...

  • Legalize Marijuana and SAVE the GOOD NONVIOLENT PEOPLE!

  • That Tom Ammiano guy gives me the creeps. EVIL EYES!!!

  • Wow, was that lady full of shit or what. lolz

  • Why the hell are people pushing for taxation and government regulation?! Are they really that blind?
