@CichlidAsh Relic ended up doing a superior job in just about every aspect with this intro than the entirety of the Ultramarines film.

Think about that for a moment. A game developer, for one single, short intro cinematic, can do something of better quality (in almost all aspects. Sound design was good in ultramarines too, at least) than an entire group focusing on making a 40k film. =|

Either that's an epic win for Relic, or an epic fail for Codex Pictures. Most likely, both.

Space Marines are hardly humans the transformation they go though when they become Spare Marines makes them fearless to the point of folly. You would need to see an imperial guards reaction to see what a human would do, normally with an Imperial Guard (or anyone with sence really ) would be too run the other way as quickly as possible

Why is there armor that bulky... i know it gives them added strength and its thick plating, but there in the JUNGLE which makes the armor impractical. ill probably get a lot of crap for saying that... but ill get more for saying this, personally i would rather use the MK 6 MJOLNIR armor (spartan armor) from halo, since it has an energy shield that can take a hell of a beating then the armor is also extremely durable not to mention that its less bulky and still gives the added strength.

Really didnt like how poor they made the marine's aim, how slow they made them move, and how the eldar were basically on par with them.... thats not how it's supposed to be according to Lore >.> Then again if they made this game according to lore, and with it's existing unit cap, wouldnt be much of a point to play anything other than Marines or Chaos :p

@ChystAtWork - hardly. If the Space Marines had been ambushed by traitor Guardsmen. Chaos cultists or Orks, I would have agreed.

However, they get ambushed by Eldar, who ARE supposed to be masters of stealth and trickery, as well as being naturally agile - fast enough to dodge a Space Marine's attacks, for instance. It would have been different if they'd been fighting on open ground.

Even in Lore, while Space Marines are noted as supermen, they can still be killed.
