That cover was perfect. There is no way anyone else could ever teach this song as accurately as you could on youtube...will you please make a tutorial so all of us can learn to play this amazing song also. And now to watch your death letter video :)
@TheCaptainEnergy Yes, actually its supposed to be your pinky, but most ppl youse the 3rd finger. including me. except for occasions when you need your 3rd.
@TeeWeeQcKsteel its called a bottle neck brah, and it is nescisary for playing slide guitar, look up robert johnson or led zepplinn's traveling riverside blues and then say you do not need this for good sound
@TeeWeeQcKsteel Yeah what are you talking about? The reason it sounds (almost) like the original is because that's how the original is played. Except jack uses a metal slide, so it's a slightly harsher tone.
@GaskellleoCinema So what is your problem, hew??? May I accept it, that jack once used this....but maybe not :-D However I you play the song like the original, I only can not stand this metal slide!!!
Why are u asking me what I'm talking about...I talked all the time about this metal slide.....
@kite3350 It's a Harmony H15 BobKat, ca. 1965, finished in this video in a badly applied dakota red, as I bought it. I refinished in it the same color.
I think after 2:00 Jack used Whammy pedal to get that crazy sound

@TheStratoCruiser No way! I clicked on it just cause the guitar looked like mine! I have a 1961 Kay Vanguard. It's amazing!

great cover! Do you use an A tuning?
EasySkanking91 1 year ago
Thank you, I appreciate it! And yes, I used an A open tuning, but I think E would work too. It'd just be in a different key.
