Dave u must know that avira is twice the av of avast, but it does not find root kits! my favorite and ive tested so many!(cant say all there's a new release every 2 seconds) is NOD32!

it detected adobe photoshop cs2 because it had a keygen i will need to have it taken out of quarantine otherwise its great!

There's a different way to do it, which disables the ads fully, it involves disabling permissions for one of the exes in the avira folder so its unable to display the advert

I am using Avast and so far I have not found any problems with it. What program do you use for deleting cookies and such? I used CCCleaner for a while cause everyone recommended that but then I noticed that I lost my mouse pointers and then could not right click on the start menu.

CCleaner can give false positives just like any other reg type cleaner, I dont use them anymore. malwarebytes is about as close as I get to that type of cleaning, windows has a built in disk cleanup tool that is good enough.

No you cant run anything else with Norton and yes deleting it can harm your pc, but you can remove it using the add n remove feature in your control panel.

Well if you like annoying alerts when you turn them off, yeah I guess put them both on. Also most programs do slow your computer down a small quantity but it's alright to put them both on if you're not gaming.
