  • there's a lot going on in that compact space, but hell if it dose the job, ive no idea what job needs that much stuff but sure.

  • Whats your loop :) ? AWESOME build

  • What if you didn't install the pumps/ tubes properly? Would water spray everywhere and fry your rig? (Stupid question, I know.)

  • how do you like the pump/res combo? is it good? i'm piecing together some parts for my next build in a month or two, and i'm thinking about picking one of those Koolance RP-980BK's up

  • @unokilo321 I love. All-in-one and makes for a clean setup. I say get one. Temp readings, pump and fan control...gotta love it.

  • @Playboyer69 g1/4 fittings on the pump/res? will I be able to put some 1/2in barbs on it? sorry for the noob questions, just want to figure everything out before I buy anything.

  • @unokilo321 Yes. I'm using g1/4 thread, 1/2" barbs in my setup with 1/2" Tubing (3/4" O.D.)

  • @Playboyer69 nice, thanks for the quick reply :) I appreciate the help, I get paid next week I guess i'm ordering one of these bad boys

  • nice nice nice , love the uv tubings!

  • Just a general question..Did you find it fairly straightforward setting up the watercooling? Im about to get into it, and its a bit daunting! lol

  • @jlebesis yeah pretty much. It's all just a matter of how you want to run the loop and the order of each watercooled component meaning if you wanted it to go from radiator>cpu>gpu>.... or the otherway around.

  • I too have fourway sli on water. how ever the EK motherboad water block is perventing my gt240sc from going in the PCIe slot (to act as a PPU)

This isnt a waste of money if he uses & enjoys it.

  • @Playboyer69, where is your radiator mounted? and where the hell are those hoses connected to the 2 in 1 fitting even going?

  • @feAr636 the radiator is mounted inside right under that large exhaust fan on top of the case. The the 2 in 1 is a drain plug.

  • wow thats like 10 ps3s put togher

  • just wanted to add . i can get 120 fps in cod4 multiplayer with a 9600gt palit card i bought from ebay for 45$ over a year ago :}

  • @themooseOFpower

you should cap it at 60FPS,

  • im just upgradeing now. i find videos like these helpfull .so thankyou. im still useing an old e5200,palit 9600 gt (wich gives me better scores than the next 4 cards up in its league ) and a old gigabyte ga p43 board WICH is an awesome board i gotta commend gigabyte boards they rock ill never use any other board than gigabyte . time to make the jump now to i7 platform ,planning on 8gb corsair ddr3 i7.920 classified and a gtx 260 .running xp 64 and 7 64 bit yay

  • I say that you have wasted a lot of money my good sir.

  • @vaguedustin I'm pretty sure you could've just spent your 1000 dollar PC system and got a console if you love gaming.

  • @vaguedustin and that would've left you with extra cash that you wouldn't be wasting at all.

  • tubes? and Coolant?

  • You should put a bunch of ice in there to cool ur cpu more..lol

  • lol the music

  • what else does your liquid cooling unit cool besides the cpu?

  • @crazedimp321

Currently the North/Southbridge chipset and both GTX295s are watercooled.

  • @crazedimp321

Currently the North/Southbridge chipset and both GTX295s are watercooled.

  • @leignheart

ur a tool for using the word tool way too much..and no where in my comment do i say that corsair is better then kingwin u slanderous cunt..also i don't fuckin care what kind of memory u have or what u think of it cause in my eyes there's no difference between ur brain and the daily shit i flush down the toilet..fuck off troll

  • That's pretty beast dude.

  • thats a sweet watercooling setup. nice job man.

  • Very impressive, nice build man.

  • Hey what are you benching at with vantage on performance? We have almost the same rig except the motherboard, but very nice by the way

  • lol 5 stars cuz it made me laugh.... for sum ppl a 9600gt is all they got and is hardcore! and this guy... wow uses it merly for physx which makes this system a kickass monster ;D

  • nice rig everything is awesome except the psu.

  • @n1k7873 soo a 1220 w psu is not good enough? lol

  • @flyinpolak

nah 1220w psu is fine..its just that i've haven't really heard anything about kingwin psu..with all that crazy hardware i'd think he'd have a corsair, seasonic, pc power & cooling or some other high end psu...i'm not tryin to hate or anything..

  • @n1k7873

ahh i see... idk some times off brands are the way to go. i was thinking you meant that 1200 psu was too weak or something haha nah i gotcha now

  • The PSU is holding up with now sweat. Not problems at all. It delivers even raw power even with my CPU, Mobo, Ram and GPUs are overclocked and fans at max rpm, and waterpump at highest. I highly recommend it. Looks cool too!

  • Thanks, good to know and yeah I like how the lights match the rest in your case.

  • @n1k7873 that my friend is what makes you a tool. thinking corsair is higher quality than kingwin. your very much a tool. its just like thinking corsair makes the best memory sticks. which i believe is false. i own both the dominator gt and the kingston hyperx and the kingston and better i think. just like i love kingwin power supplies. you should never let yourself be a tool. no different than thinking that nikes are the best and make you an athlete. well nikes dont.

  • What a beast!

  • that is sexy

  • You should get the 965..would be the best computer ever.

  • NO

    920 OCs better

    and its $1000!!!!!!!!

  • 965 vs 920 = no contest when overclocked. 965 would literally burn up at the same temps that the 920 runs at comfortably. Not to mention the 965 doesn't have 4 virtual cores like the 965 does. Best computer ever with the 965? I think not.

  • Whats so good about the evga 9600gt for physx, because I though most of the nvidia gpus have it?

  • If you isolate one gpu for physx calculations instead of the nvidias gpu's, that allows the main gpus to focus on frame rendering and the physx gpu - in this case the 9600 - to focus solely on the physics of the frame. In simpler terms, better fps.

  • Thanks I never fully understood that, but ,just saying, If i had 3x295 for sli , and a 285 for physx would it be better physx then 9600 or no?

  • You can't have 3x GTX295 cause GTX295 can be link only at Quad SLi. But yeah, GTX285 will be better gpu for physx thank 9600gt.

  • a GTX 285 for PhysX would be indiscriminate overkill if you were using it for gaming. A 9800 GT for Physx is still more than you need but it will handle PhysX with no problem. From what I understand the most processing cores you could use for PhysX would be in the area of 64.

PhysX does not require much to operate properly.

  • yeah he just asked wich one will be better :)

  • Can you tell me what the item with blue led lights in the grill enclosure next to your CPU and possibly on top of your memory card is?

  • That's the OCZ XTC Memory Cooler Rev 1. Two fans are inside that grill enclosure that cool the ram. I have it too, it's awesome

  • kick ass machine 5*

    Luv the Terminator <3

  • better Physx Card an CPU (975) and you have one of the fastist

  • realy i hate koolance dangerden is the king.

  • how did you found the PSU?

  • Hey bro you should check out my updates!! just posted!

  • "this a 100% kickass product " ;D

  • can You tell me the name of the music please ? and btw... aweeeeesome system...

  • it is the theme music for The Terminator movie

  • k thanks buddy.

  • nice nice

  • kickass

  • Where did you get all those stickers from? (Nvidia SLI, EVGA, etc...) I don't think they come with the products because my graphics cards (GTX 280's) did not come with any stickers except for one that says "Powered by BFG" but i want the Nvidia SLI sticker as well

  • you can those case badges from the evga website or on ebay.

  • omg ......

  • wow bro talk about enthusiast sep up.

  • Great Pc man, and X-Fi Titanium is Amazing Sound card, i have one off a those, 5/5 Stars, Great Men

  • LOL I like the "I'll be back" at the end.

    Nicely done!

  • OMG it's mysterious. Actually i really dont have a classifiedboard then. This is getting so lame. But here i go again. You can fit the classified board. You just wouldn't be able to fit a graphics card on the buttom last pci-e slot unless you cut a slit on the motherboard tray for the cards bracket to slide into. That's what i had to do. But the board fits perfectly fine. If it's impossible then i'm lying and using a video editing/special effect program for this vid.

  • the antec 1200 doesn't support E ATX Motherboards so how can you have a X58 classified motherboard

  • OMG it's mysterious. Actually i really dont have a classifiedboard then. This is getting so lame. But here i go again. You can fit the classified board. • Actually it does. check micro center antec 1200 in the specs shows m-atx, atx, and e-atx

  • The Antec 1200 does NOT support e-atx boards. The x58 Classified isn't a true e-atx board. Check Antec's site...you won't find anywhere on there with e-atx on the 1200 page.

  • Nice setup, just ordered that case for my roommate's setup. Btw how do you like your koolance RP-980BK??? Im thinking of getting something like that for mine..

  • I really like it. It's convenient because it's an all in one temp monitor, pump, reservoir, pump control, fan control. get one.

  • one more thing.... it looks hard to fill... is it?

  • Not much room if you wanted to use an external waterpump. I was gonna run dual loop with a seperate pump for the GPU loop but because space was going to be an issue i decided to run a single loop using the RP-980BK to move the coolant. I will be upgrading the case to a much larger Lian Li case in the near future.

  • Really want a case made of aluminum? It might fit everything a little nicer but Its not going to be worthy of a terminator song that for sure :) jk

    -my self, i like steel

  • how does the MB fit into the antec 1200, i thought it was an EATX board and antec 1200 doesnt support it?

  • Great job dude, that is one heck of a build!

  • Holy fakkmuffins man, what games are you playing? Serious overkill but at least you wont have to upgrade for awhile lol.

  • Is that black light at the top?

  • yup

  • This rig could destroy worlds, a true warrior.

  • the board is extended atx but the case only supports up to standard atx so how did u get it to fit?

did you custom fit the radiator?

  • there are tuts over the web on drilling custom holes to fit it. The board is around the size of a asus rampage extreme and its atx so it fits but it covers up the cable management hole :(

  • thx i have a rampage 2 already and have already cut extra cable management hole and was thinking of upgrading so shouldn't be much of a prob to fit

    thanks

  • what's the name of that RAM cooler you have installed?

  • OCZ XTC Memory Cooler

  • Isn't that only compatible with DDR1 and DDR2? the OCZ XTC Rev 2 however is compatible with DDR3.

  • I originally used the memory cooler for my previous q9550, DDR3 setup which was only a 4 slot memory configuration. I tried it in my current i7, 6 slot configuration and it fits. It's compatible. The memory locks are the same so the cooler clamps on perfectly.

  • why do you have a physx gpu? Doesn't the 295 have physx built it?

  • It does. The "8" series and up GPUs have physx support since the release of drivers that enable them. But i just wanted to have a dedicated Physx gpu. I don't need it but i just wanted it. It's a hobby and i just like to installed/upgrade whater ever possible.

  • What exactly is quad sli? does that mean you have 4 cards?

  • Correct. A single GTX295 is basically two GTX260s with the stream processors of the GTX280 and put into sli in one housing.

  • is the gtx 280 OC any good in your opinion?

  • I actually loved my GTX280. I real big boost from my previous 8800 Ultra. But then a month later the GTX295 came out and so i got that. The 280 was a really good card. Could max out anygame even crysis but not so great with 16xAA but who really plays at 16x. Game look good at high resolution even with Anti-Aliasing off. But yes it's a good card. You should get the GTX285 tho since they are built on the 55nm process so runs cooler thus getting better oc results

  • How much this cost

  • 4 cores

    2 on each board

  • Currently i have two radiators(Feser X-Changer and DD GTX240) My i7@4.2ghz idles 37c. I Installed one waterblock on the GTX295 and it idles 44c/55c load while the stock aircooled idles 62c/86c.

Northbridge used to idle 70c. Now idles 45c w/koolance waterblock.

  • What temps do you get?

  • I have the antec 1200 too but doesn't the psu cpu cable have to go over the motherboard? I really hate that because my psu's cpu cable isn't long enough and I really have to stretch it to the cpu.

  • awsome rig man!

  • thanks buddy

  • how much did the two evga 295's cost you altogether?

  • around $1100

  • I know it's rediculous to spend so much but this is my hobby.

  • no man i totally understand. I have two nvidia geforce 280's in SLI, I'm thinking of getting an extra gpu for physx. This is my hobby too. Check out my set up under my videos, let me know what you think.

  • i think i can answer that for you. $1000US DOLLARS

  • What is that red flashing "E" on the motherboard? I know it's the symbol for eVGA, but what's it for? It can't be part of the video cards because it's so far from them.

  • thats "E" comes from the top piece of the northbridge heatsink. i guess evga wanted to add a little eyecandy to the motherboard

  • Can you tell me what you using for the liquid cooling block type, pump etc. I have 920 looks like yours is running pretty cool.

  • I use the Swiftech Apogee GTZ cpu waterblock. and i'm using the Koolance RP-980BK waterpump/reservoir combo

  • Terminator... brings back memories, cool rig

  • THANKS for the info :)

  • I'd go 2 GTX295 and at least a 9800GT+ 1gb physx gpu. The GTX285 for a physx is overkill and it's alot of money to spend for not a great deal of improvement in performance. I've ran a benchmark using a 8800GT 512mb and GTX260 and the difference wasn't significant at all. That amount of money won't justify the every small fps gain.

  • Liquid cool the cards, it would be better as you know

  • i just installed a koolance waterblock for one of the GTX295 cards. Saving up for the other waterblock now.

  • Grest, Those Koolance blocks are nice.

  • what works better for my 70-inch sony 1080p rear projection LCD :

    2x GTX 295(quad SLI) 1x GTX 285 for PhysX

    or

1x BFG NVidia GeForce GTX 285 OCX 1024MB

  • 70 inch doesnt mean you have the greates resolution = meaning, you can go for 8800 gts which is 49 pounds now, ,, ,TVs have less resolution than pc monitors no matter how many inches you have, it also means that pc monitor is more HD than TV, ,

  • He didn't seem to understand that your tv is 1920x1080, which is a high resolution as you know.

2 GTX 295 and a 9800 GT (there is no need for anything higher) is the best (and most exspensive).

If money is no object 3x GTX 285 and 9800 GT are the best right now. (three 285s are better than quad sli 295).

2 GTX 285 will be more than enough with room for the future, and will give you get fps.

above 2 will do good with AA which will be important at 70 inches

    1 295 good

    1 285 will work

  • thanks my friend and based on your answer my wallet kinda slipped and bought the ASUS Dual GTX 285 Mars Edition :) , now should i sell my car and clothes and buy another one to get a good result with AA settings ?!

  • nah that should be fine once everything is set up put in a crysis warhead and turn up the settings to max, and then run it with no AA, and see how you feel about it, then try with each setting of AA and see if you actually notice the difference and see if the framerate drops enough to bother you, you can almost definitely play crysis at 1080 with 2x AA, 4x AA may work. Any other game should be fine. My guess is everything will look great and itll be awesome, hopefully you can test it and decide.

  • reading your words makes me glad that i didn't brake my piggy bank for nothing :) now i look forward to try out these settings. THANKS
