  • Nice group of cattle,Ihere you have had a wee touch of winter.

  • @crumyards Weather is back to normal now. We had only 2 inches of snow but was a lot worse in other areas Temps got down to - 12

  • I have a question: why are these referred to as "heifers"? I thought a heifer was a cow who hadn't yet had a calf. Are these heifers pregnant? Is that why you refer to them as "in milk"? (Do they produce milk before they've calved for the first time?)

  • @me68206 A heifer is the name given to a young cow (2-3 years old ) that is in her first lactation Some of these heifers are pregnant -(2nd calf) They do not produce milk until they have calved. Younger Heifers that are not pregnant are called virgin, maiden or bulling heifers

  • Just so everyone knows, Shottle is a better bull then goldwyn!

  • Beautiful lady's 5*****

  • Beautiful cows . . they seem so well mannered too! I didn't pick the winner in this class tho . . I chose the cow that came in 3rd! but it's always fun trying to judge!

Thanks so much for sharing . .
