  • You did good, nice video, I'm lucky, I live here and see this every day :-))

  • Every time I see a video like this or watch an episode of Doc Martin, I want to move to Port Isaac.

  • cant believe my mum is sending me here in half term, wtf, looks buzzing

  • yes great place to live before bloody doc martin now it .......

  • I'm from Tempe, Arizona. Port Issac (Port Wenn) is my fantasy town I escape to after a long days work. I got hooked on "Doc Martin" immediately after I saw it. Can't wait for series 5.

  • Harbour - Not American Harbor

  • @omegadeep 私は英国人でしたが、米国人になりました!

  • spent nearly every summer holiday in port isac from 1985 to 2000. My children grew up in the rock pools and sea around padstow. Alas the guaranteed sun of the balearics beckoned and we haven,t been back since. lots and lots of memories though.

  • port isaac is the most beautiful place on Earth. it is perfect.

    greetnigs from croatia

  • This place it´s a dream, it´s beautiful. Thank you for share!

  • Very nice use of Holst. I love how you timed the 2nd movement to begin with your transition to the footpath and nature footage. Nicely done!

  • Beautiful place

  • I recently discovered "Doc Martin" on Netflix and quickly watched every episode. The show is great, the music is great (I bought the CD), and I think PI is absolutely beautiful. I wish I could visit, but alas I can't afford the trip from the US. :(

  • Thanks for the memories. We visited there 17 years ago and are seriously thinking about returning for a week next year. What time of year were you there? We're thinking Oct. maybe late Sept.

(BTW, have you seen "Saving Grace" ... a hilarious movie set in PI)

  • @dodgema @dodgema: We were there during the first week of Sept., '09. We stayed at the Victoria Inn at Roche ---- an interesting old coaching inn with a modern mini-hotel grafted onto it. It is a convenient base for many tourist sites --- Eden Project, Port Isaac, Clovelly, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock, Tintagel, Boscastle, etc.

Thanks to Netflix and PBS here in the US, we've seen the movie "Saving Grace" and the entire Doc Martin TV series!

    Cheers,

    Bob

  • Thank you very much Bob!!! I will be walking in This beautiful place very soon.

  • Very beautiful place!!! I am from Argentina and i will visit London next year. I would like to visit Port Isaac. Could you tell me how can i get there, please? Thanks.

  • @nanoinca If you are confident enough to drive on high-speed English Motorways AND on narrow Cornish lanes, then the best way to see rural Cornwall from London is via a rental car. However, if you prefer public transport, then a Google search on "Port Isaac bus service" will give you lots of information:

    Enjoy your trip!
