  • Would u carry that bag in a store or leave it in the car or ect. To me I want a bag that stay with me everywhere. You never know what will happen and if its in your car and your in a store your screwed. For example if you have heart problems and u taked meds but then you start having problem and the bags in the car and can't get it very quickly

  • @nightwalker2830

it's too big for me to carry, but I know people who do carry this size bag all the time

  • TACTICAL ARMADILLO FOR ALL YOUR TACTICAL BOTTLE SITUATIONS

  • I wish people would offer suggestions instead of slamming video reviews. Are people so ignorant and closed minded that they can't see the points of the reviews? I carry this same bag everyday. It works for what I need and carry, plus it is made to last. The price could be a little cheaper, but you get what you pay for. If it is too big, others can get a smaller version. Maxpedition has plenty to choose from.

  • @michzru1

    well said, thanks..

and I agree, if people can't find the size bag they need at Max, they aren't going to find a bigger selection anywhere else

  • I always wonder why people carry big mags fro there guns in there ECD. Is your big gun part of your EDC? Would'int it be better to carry mags for your hand gun that is on your person in your EDC? But I live in Canada and can't carry a gun. So what do I know.

  • people just jealous they can't afford the bag tsk tsk tsk

  • This reveiw is about the bag! not whats in it. (or not in it)

  • Cool review, but whats up with your camera?

  • i love the "tactical" bottle opener.

  • You should keep some water purification tabs & a bit of rope in there.

  • Great review very thorough. You confirmed a lot of what I thought with respect to the size of this pack. Its a bit too small for me so I went with the Maxpedition Mongo S-type. I think those rollpoly pouches are a great idea for any type of foraging.

By any chance do you have a detailed review of that first aid kit and what exactly you put into it?

  • What is the Brand of the water botle?

  • Here in the U.S. it might as well be Beirut its crazy ! Don't act silly I and many of people I know have been in near death experiences and some are dead ! you need to be prepared for who knows what ! Why do you think we teach our kids not to talk to strangers ! and Amber alert and so on and so forth !

  • knife?!

  • good review, practical contents, nicely organized... shit i want one.. anyone want to trade me one? got other maxpedition gear to trade, knives, current edc items.. etc.. msg me

  • @shammy63

LOL, thats OK, you are a joke to us too

  • @GearBuyersGuide I sometimes try sympathize for jealous foreigners, but they're just too damn funny it so at least they have that going for them.

  • @shammy63 Sooooo....what protectionist country are you from? This comment is two months old so if your from the U.K. I was just wondering if your going to stick your foot in your mouth? And if not...I was just wondering..Did you see the riots in the U.K.?

  • @Jroy9108 no

  • @shammy63 are you just retarded. You can't even troll well. Your dumb ass country probably doesn't even allow guns.... Screw off kid.

  • @shammy63 typical foreigner talking sh!t because you cant have guns where you live.

  • can you guys not tell the guy is law enforcement or are you that cracked

  • attention to all the idiots who are judging this guys rig: shut up. This was a review of this bag, great review by the way, not for all the people to judge why he has mags or what type of gloves he has.

    @GearBuyersGuide

Great review! cool rig! keep up the good stuff!

  • @Millionhorns

thanks for the support, enjoy the videos !!

  • What are those mags for?...Whats in them?

  • Why carry rifle magazines in your EDC bag?

What I mean is, if you do not EDC your AR platform on you (i.e. - carry your AR rifle on your person in public) what is the point of carrying the mags in a EDC bag in public?

I can assure myself ahead of time that you do not carry your AR platform with you in public, unless you are LEO and in a riot / swat support situation. And in that case the dept. and you would have access to LEO mag carriers / vests.

Anyway, your EDC content baffles me.

  • what is a mag or what ever its called

  • WTF do you need with 90 rounds of EXTRA 223 in an EDC? That's 120 rounds total? So you can hide behind you bag/trauma plate while returning fire from your well fed semi-auto AR? That's tacticool. Save some weight and replace those mags with pistol mags and an MRE.

  • good idea with the trauma plate, we carry one for body guarding to protect the back of the head when we move a client

  • hey have a right and left hand one s shape or regaular

  • So you have an AR with you always?!

  • @nerfsk8er

    pretty much

  • someone know there to buy the red led light

or what the name of it

  • @MortenRoskildeRasmus so-led from county comm

  • someone know there to buy the red led light

or what the name of it

  • are there someone who know what the red led light is named

and whre to buy it ?

  • Nice review!

  • Good set up. I run my versipack very similarly. I like the color. Mine is khaki which i find stands out a bit more than I'd like.

  • I know that the glowstick is basically kept in the dark, but it might be an idea to cover it in foil or something as sunlight significantly shortens the shelf life. Great review though. It gives me a good idea of what to do with my "spare" versipack.

  • Just to inform you. I found out why the zippered pouch under the flap only have one zipper. The bag was designed to be worn by right handed users (you know this already since you stated that.) so that pouch was made so that the zipper is always facing the front. Just sharing some information

  • Whats a level 3 kevlar trama plate?

  • @FrFghtr3005

A small piece of body armor

  • @GearBuyersGuide

But what do you use that little piece for?.. Protecting what is inside the bag or what? :)

  • @MUSTANGFUSK

just a small additional piece of 'just in case'

or perhaps something you could put over a kid or loved one in a desperate situation..

  • @FrFghtr3005 i think they are mainly used in bp vests as an extra layer of protection over ur vital organs !!!!

  • the bag that you have right here is meant for right handed users, but i agree with the front pouch to have double zippers, not the single zipper pull

  • that fucking ringing is annoying as hell.

  • @TyBeretta

so are repetitive comments a year later

  • @GearBuyersGuide my mom says your her youtube hero :-p

  • @aodhanof90

    Woo hoo, thanks

  • Great review. I have the same pack and love it. You did a really good job of setting up your EDC system. I also think of this pack as a way to fight my way to my vehicle, or as a small survival system. I change what I carry, but I have several fire starting options, small fixed blade survival knife, and a Sig .45, etc. - can't carry everything. You are good at packing things in there and have given me some ideas. Great job. Do you carry your AR in your vehicle?

  • why you not use" multi tool" to replace all the tool ....? (just my opinion )

  • Is this the same as the jumbo EDC?

  • @IrishPuglover3565

    not quite

  • @GearBuyersGuide I feel like a numbnuts now lol I researched this on their site and this bag seems to be bigger and more money. This bag is runnning 119.99(around that price) the jumbo edc is smaller and runs 66.99. But same style for the most part but yours has more pockets. How would you rate this gear and the company's customer service? I'm wanting to order the jumbo edc for my EDC bag and I have researched up them but it's great to get real time feedback.

  • @IrishPuglover3565

We have had only good interactions with Max.. I know some people have complained, but I suspect any large company is going to have an occasional failure in customer service

They have good gear, if they didn't I think there would be many more negative reviews out here on YT, and I find very few if any negative reviews of the quality of their gear

  • @IrishPuglover3565 , some of the Airsoft, paintball bags work just as well for alot less money, in my opinion, well works for me in outback australia

  • Good video man. Thanks!

  • could this fit a 10 inch netbook?

  • @wojoman676

    I think so

  • would you happen to know if the Maxpedition Jumbo and the LEO are the same size?

  • nice items in there. Some inspiration for mine! thank you!

  • I found the level 3 plate a smart idea. Great bag.

  • Nice Outfit.

  • i love that cloth thingy u have hanging for cleaning lenses can u please tell me what its called where i can get one! i have the same colored bag i love it!!!! great vid thanks for sharing hope to see an update of this item from u soon!!!

  • @ascorpio09

I am not sure exactly what they are called, but they are a lens cleaner. I have seen them at Radio Shack (for more than I wanted to pay)

But I do like having it available..

  • If you don't need, or want to carry a water bottle, I've found that the Janus extension pocket fits perfectly in side that bottle container . . . like they were made for each other!

  • great review. know of any sites to buy maxpedition gear?

  • @PhillieBRidin

Sure, thier own website.. some of the You Tube channels even offer discount codes.. check it out

  • Great review... I just got mine in the mail today, and it's awesome. Pictures and even videos do not do these bags justice.

  • why are these little bags sooo expensive? yea they look like good bags but still, a little spendy

  • i think that you need to reshoot the vid

  • i think you need to reshoot the vid

  • Great video

  • with all that gear, you can even kill Ultra 7 :P

  • Love your gear, always brilliant

  • If I bought the Jumbo mine would look just like yours because I have the same Better Bottle in that colour and want this KF coloured Jumbo too aha.

  • i find when i load mine up, it really fatigues the left side of my body. i wonder if its too heavy or if i have the strap around my shoulder done incorrectly. any thoughts?

  • @cheomire

I for one put way too much stuff into this one, so I'd bet on too heavy (just my guess of course)

  • @cheomire I have a clone of the jumbo versipack. I find it works better for me if the strap is on my right shoulder. Of course that's how I have always carried shoulder bags.

  • Which model would be one size scale down on size?

  • @urkingod

Not sure off top of my head, but their website has a section for these in all their sizes

  • @urkingod It would definetly be the Fatboy. No waterbottle holder, smaller compartment.

  • @urkingod The next size down is called the fatboy.

  • @urkingod

The next size down is called the fatboy

  • @urkingod The Fatboy, I have one... much smaller.

  • I like the idea of sticking the red cross on the bag. make the sheeple relax and maybe make a thief overlook it if breaking into your car. I will steal that idea hope you don't mind. ;)

  • @ctfam

Go for it.. also take a look at MilSpec Monkeys webpage, he has a ton of funny velcro patches

  • Great review. Where did you get the medic/red cross velcro patch?

  • Good job! Mine is supposed to be delivered this Friday!

  • I used it again today to carry 18 pounds of coins with no problems

  • Wow! Unfortunately, I doubt that Tim @ Maxpedition will be shipping mine with 18 pounds of coins!

  • I have been using mine hard and absolutely love it!

  • Got some change, bro? haha.

  • thanks for the review man!

  • no prob

we've donre a few on this bag with different set ups and gear

  • Why do you carry the Trauma plate ?

    Regards

    P. Nielsen

    Viking-survival

  • It's a 'just in case' kinda thing, since it fit in the otherwise unused pocket and it added very little weight

  • Cool i use it for my Bulletproff vest

  • This is such a great bag, the webbing cutter is a nice touch, i'll have to attach one to mine.

  • We just found a bunch of material to use for a video, so stay tuned for another webbing cutter video soon

  • Great review. These bags are high quality and very user friendly.

    5 stars~

  • This is a great review after the fact that I bought one the same style and color. This was a real find while I am still waiting to recieve it. I did however do a double take at someone needing 90 rnds of .223 in their EDC. Where do you live, Detroit?

  • Tucson AZ in a medium to high risk job about an hour north of the Mexican border

  • Again another good review. I have the same bag right now but Im on the fence if Im going to continue using it as my business EDC. I cant fit my laptop in it if I have to carry it and one of my company catalogs just about fits it I expand the strap all the way. Dont get me wrong its a great piece of gear its just not suited for what I need as a work EDC. Probably gonna look into one of the pack style bags.

    5.5

  • I think this one will end up as a camera bag after all our editors are done reviewing it for CCW and EDC use

Seems well suited for quick battery, memory card access along with padded storage and lots of pockets for tripods and other support gear

  • Maxpedition's Tactical Operator Attache' is a fantastic option if your laptop is not too big.

  • I got the jumbo and the smaller versipak. I use it everyday. Friends and family always give me crap about it being a "murse" but they always ask me for stuff i.e. tools, pens, or other items i carry. Or they ask me to carry things for them they don't want to put in their pockets like cell phones.

  • LOL..

    I've heard that myself

"Ha ha you have a lot of stuff you'll never use...can I borrow your knife / pen / light / etc"

  • Reality is that the gloves the paramedics use and 99.9% of the gloves in the ER are not sterile, they are bulk packed out of a box. "Clean" but not sterile.

  • those latex gloves are no good to you unless they're sealed. if they are opened and loose like you have there, you risk infecting your patient with something.

  • I usually keep some loose (easy to get to) and some vacuume sealed..

Then use them according to the circumstance

  • oh ok. thats good. its just if you only had opened ones it would defeat the point of having them in the first place. great video as always

  • What about if he is more concerned with not contracting anything from the person he is helping?

  • The gloves are for your protection/ :-)

  • yeah but if they are not sterile then you could infect the person you're working on surely. which would worsen the condition

  • Its first aid. I'd rather someone help me compress a spurting wound I had instead of saying, "I'm sorry, your going to have to bleed to death because i'm afraid my gloves might give you an infection later on". Just sayin'

  • ok then

  • I tend to agree with you..

I know it's possible to infect someone, but if the alternative is bleeding out, who wouldn't take the infection .. well risk of infection?

Good topic for debate though IMO

  • I think Maxpedition has the Jumbo Versipack for left handed people too. If I recall it was the S-type, not sure though

  • They do, thanks for mentioning it

  • I'm right-handed, but I use the S-type. I prefer to have it on my weak side -- works out great!

  • great review! I'm going to subscribe and watch your other vid's

  • cool, thanks.. let us know what you think, and what else you might want to see

  • Great stuff man, Im really enjoying your reviews. Please keep it up.

  • Thanks, we will
