What happened in his past, I have no idea about and I am not interested. We all make mistakes BUT we are talking about the Zion Park - are we not? and from what I have watched, I think he is fantastic at what he does. I am South African and am proud of what Dalu did their and of course very sorry he has gone, but I am sure Dalu would want Craig to be there. From what I can gather it all happened after Craig's mother fired him, if so.....the mother is at fault TOTALLY.

Those of you wanting this man to get his job back at zion wildlife gardens, do some research, and then decide. His mom had good reason for asking him to leave - it wasn't just due to a family dispute. Not only does he have violent tendencies toward people and animals, but under his management cats at the park were declawed. This causes lameness, and is continually painful for the animal. He traded his cats like they were trading cards - if anybody remembers him swapping a white tiger for a white lion, which neither are even on the conservation list. He declawed most or all of his cats which is illegal - for very good reason - in New Zealand. Big cats should not be walked if they were kept in proper sized enclosures that weren't over crowded, his were neither. He should never have been allowed near the park.
Any real conservationist would not declaw their tigers and lions, a practice that leads to the animals having serious health issues, a conservationist would not have moved the mother of 3 cubs to a very stressful enclosure when she was comfortable where she was. A real conservationist wouldn't encourage the breeding of white tigers, they are not a species they are a mutation the do not exist in the wild apart from when a genetic defect takes place. This man should not have a park or TV show.

I hate how Dalu was made to be a victim I've never seen a man so happy as when Craig told him he would pay his ticket over to work at the park. Dalu was a true expert cat handler so the only thing I can say is that there was a bad atmosphere in the park and probably the cats were being not treated right or being given the correct amount of care.

I met Craig Busch yesterday at Wicksteed Park :) He was so lovely, kind, caring and also patient with all his fans who wanted to meet him - all 700 or so of them! Craig should be back with his big cats, that's where he belongs. I don't believe any of this nonsense or lies people say about Craig, as his true fans know the truth. And i support him so much, especially now i've met him and know how kind he is :) Craig WILL return to ZWG!!!!! :)

What happened in his past, I have no idea about and I am not interested. We all make mistakes BUT we are talking about the Zion Park - are we not? and from what I have watched, I think he is fantastic at what he does. I am South African and am proud of what Dalu did their and of course very sorry he has gone, but I am sure Dalu would want Craig to be there. From what I can gather it all happened after Craig's mother fired him, if so.....the mother is at fault TOTALLY.

I've known Craig since we were kids. A pathological liar and manipulator. Some of the things he used to do and say to ingratiate himself on woman. I always expected to see Craig up on serious sexual offences. Didn't surprise me one bit when I saw his name in the press re assaulting a woman. A very bad man is Busch. Those of you wanting this man to get his job back at zion wildlife gardens, do some research, and then decide. His mom had good reason for asking him to leave - it wasn't just due to a family dispute. Not only does he have violent tendencies toward people and animals, but under his management cats at the park were declawed. This causes lameness, and is continually painful for the animal. Is this really the guy you want caring for animals?

@sozza125 you really don't know that much about him then. He traded his cats like they were trading cards - if anybody remembers him swapping a white tiger for a white lion, which neither are even on the conservation list. He declawed most or all of his cats which is illegal - for very good reason - in New Zealand. Big cats should not be walked if they were kept in proper sized enclosures that weren't over crowded, his were neither. He should never have been allowed near the park.

Any real conservationist would not declaw their tigers and lions, a practice that leads to the animals having serious health issues, a conservationist would not have moved the mother of 3 cubs to a very stressful enclosure when she was comfortable where she was. A real conservationist wouldn't encourage the breeding of white tigers, they are not a species they are a mutation the do not exist in the wild apart from when a genetic defect takes place. This man should not have a park or TV show.

Funny how Dalu died when Craig wasn't even in the country. How is it his fault?
Who was running the park at that point?
I hate how Dalu was made to be a victim I've never seen a man so happy as when Craig told him he would pay his ticket over to work at the park. Dalu was a true expert cat handler so the only thing I can say is that there was a bad atmosphere in the park and probably the cats were being not treated right or being given the correct amount of care.

I met Craig Busch yesterday at Wicksteed Park :) He was so lovely, kind, caring and also patient with all his fans who wanted to meet him - all 700 or so of them! Craig should be back with his big cats, that's where he belongs. I don't believe any of this nonsense or lies people say about Craig, as his true fans know the truth. Craig Busch should be allowed to return and run Zion Wildlife Park. It was a shame about Dalu, and the White Tiger Abu who killed Him, but after all, everyone knows Tigers are wild, and the People who look after the Big Cats know this too, and it was wrong for Abu to be shot because of the mauling, just as its wrong to keep Craig away from the Big Cats He really loves. Even if sum people think that he did something wrong why do the animals have to suffer its bad enough that one person died and a tiger that just done what tigers do have been killed he always told them don't go in without him its not fair to him the anmials or the people that would of gone to he park before all this bring him back before its to late and the park is gone and the animals don't have a home anymore

I cant believe possibly the best lion and tiger handler was sacked.
I support Craig all the way and it will be best for him and all the animals if he went back.

It would not have happened if Craig was still there. There are so many idiots out there who think its big and clever to hurt animals, here, this guy is standing up for them and looking after them and this is the thanks he gets!
