  • I bet King Triton sang this song in a moment of peace.

  • Hey, Krow83, apparently Namor can't even spell Aquaman, the king of the seven seas! Where does Namor roam, maybe in your bathtub next to your rubber duck!

  • Tougher than a whale, he can swim anywhere

He can breathe underwater and go flying through the air!

The noble Sub-Mariner, prince of the deep

    Beware, you deadly demons

Lord Namor of Atlantis is kind of a dick.

  • is this composed by Disney or something?

  • Wish they put prince namor on the tube

Hold on i think i have to puke...

  • He's like Aquaman, only gayer. lol

  • @Rantincorporated Namor would rip Aquaman's arms off and beat him with them.

  • @Rantincorporated

Fuck you. Namor kills Aqauman, any day of the week.

  • he sure kicked that squids ass.

  • I don't get how Namor isn't as big anymore, I mean go back and read anything with him in, stuff like The Avengers(Vol 1 of course)and Fantastic Four(again, Vol 1)and he is a badass. Okay, he's a bit silly in hindsight, but so is pretty much every superhero, Marvel, DC and beyond.

  • The hell, Namor got his own cartoon in the 60s? Was he even popular back then? I figure he had some fans, but enough to have a cartoon?

  • @RisenHellFire Yeah! He was pretty big in the 40's and 60's Funny thing is he was MARVELS first SUPER HERO (sorry human torch but you came months later for subby's first app. MOTION PIC.FUNNIES 1 Apr.39 Human Torch appeared in MARVEL COMICS 1 Oct.39) he was the first super hero to fly (superman just leaped over buildings then in 39) he was the first antihero he just plain KICKS ASS! (ummm if you have not guessed I'm a HUGE Namor fan) Sub Mariner in 66-70 had stickers-buttons, posters

  • Hummm....I watched this show as a kid and never realized that Lord Namor looks like Mr. Spock, right down to the pointed ears and eyebrows!

  • Though I thought he would of been a better captain America, I think Sam Worthington would rock as Namor. Picture him sitting on the throne of Atlantis Struggling to come to terms with the troubles of Atlantis and the surface.

  • Namor was written to be allied with Captain America, Bucky, Miss America, original Human Torch(An Android),Toro(same powers as Torch but not an android?), and Whizzer in fighting Nazi's and threats to world. He also fought the Torch when he regarded all surface humans as threats to his people.

  • They considered Namor Prince because considered Poseidon Or Neptune King not Aquaman didn't you ever read the comics?

  • wow amyone saying namor is lame has issues! go read defenders, avengers/defenders war, sub mariner, ultimate fantastic four vol 5 etc etc ...he has taken on several high powered foes and come out in tact. and no he no longer wears gay ass speedos he has a full outfit which looks really cool stop hatin.

  • Woo, Namor is even lamer than aquaman.

  • @RebelAdmiral I always had high hopes for Aquaman when I was a kid. Not until I was an adult did DC explore the character to his full potential. Check out DC's 4th series, comic book run of Aquaman #1-15 (from 2003-'04). I only wish DC had had the vision to delve deeper in the mythological direction of these books, but they chose to botch a good thing instead. As for Namor, I agree with SOxKOOL, and I would add that Namor has periodically worn full outfits since his very beginning.

  • Is he gay?

  • cool

  • :02 He can swim anywhere haha :P

  • @KingValiant Meaning deepest part of the ocean, not sure about through a volcano or a sun though.

  • @hydrolito Oh yeah that makes sense I guess haha, it just sounds funny :)

  • When will this guy hit the silverscreen

  • BEWARE EVIL SEA WEED!

  • I miss Namor. I hope he will be a part of this new serie Avengers. I wish so.

  • he maybe a prince but aquaman is king

  • Stronger than a whale

    He can swim anywhere

he can breathe underwater and go flying through the air

The Noble Submariner, Prince of the Deep

So beware you evil sea men

For favor of Atlantis is the Prince of the Deep!

  • Now that they found Atlantis did they also find Namor?

  • Nice Broadway tune.

  • A lot of films are being restored but they have forgotten about all this great cartoons we all grew up watching. Lets see if some one will do the same for them?!?!

  • Stronger than a whale

    He can swim anywhere

He can breath underwater and go flying through the air

The noble submariner, Crips of the Deep

    So beware of sticky semen

For favor of Atlantis is the prince of the sea

  • Namor was always pissed off about something....

  • Meus preferidos eram Namor e Thor.

  • So....this is what danzig was singing about.....

  • I like the part when he goes by the big black octopus.

He's a cool character, too bad he's so unused nowadays, there could be a nice movie with him... Maybe he'll appear in Fantastic Four 3, since he and the Invisible Woman have some kind of affair...

  • LMFAO! That was a funny song

  • namor is the best

  • I don't know why, but to me this opening is the best of the other '60s marvel shows, maybe is because is so different

  • @KouheiLost

Agree with you 100%, this is THE best theme from those comics

  • @rayado612 Naw... they're all great, just for different reasons. Personally, I think Cap's was the best.

  • @rayado612 Naw... they're all great, just for different reasons. Personally, I think Cap's was the best after Spidey's.

  • Afk

  • I wish they'd put Prince Namor on the tube. Hold on I think I have to puke.

  • Stronger than a whale,

    The Noble Sub-Mariner

    Prince of the Deep

    So, beware you deadly demons...

Lord Namor of Atlantis is the Prince of the Deep.

  • It's "And the Noble Submariner, Prince of the deep, he'll beweary any demon, For Namor of Atlantis is the Prince of the Deep".

  • If you say so.I found my lyrics on some website.I just posted it here to be helpful.

  • Appreciate your posting anyway. I clearly remember watching it from childhood, and your words shocked me. I had to listen to it a dozen times to convince myself you were wrong. Nice Home Site, by the way.

  • namor doesnt get enough fame as say an iron man or spider man

  • i am john, that was my 'signature'. i think that since namor is morally ambiguous from 'our' point of view/that is america's perspective that makes him a difficult sell for marvel and too complex for many comic readers.

  • thanks for the reply. that was very insightful. john

  • just as say, in most cases, captain america, captain briton, union jack, etc. have the best interests of the countries they represent in mind, submariner generally has what is best for atlantis at heart. he is really only seen as an anti-hero or villain when his interests conflict with those of america and america isn't always right.

  • he is probably thinking of what is best for atlantis.

  • The Sub-Mariner will be played by Adam Levine from Maroon 5.

  • all cartoon from marvel are wonderfull i see since 7age before of class in primary thanks very mooch for these nice remembers

  • sub-mariner is my favorite of all marvel super heroes. sadly, they do little with the character these days and show me zero respect.
