And Michael Schmidt's source was an anomynous lawyer, they didn't have the list. He didn't know if what he wrote was true or not. There are 21 people on that list who didn't test postive for performing enhacing drugs, not just steroids. Even if his name is on that list, Ortiz might have tested negative.

well you cannot put an * after the 2 world series in 04 and 07, because although two of the sox players, ortiz and manny, were on roids, you have to remember there are 98 other names on the list putting each team at the same advantage as the red sox...for example, arod and sheffield in the 7 game series against the redsox in 04, who both had hit home runs, and both appear to be on the list of steroid users in 03...this does make me lose lots of respect for ortiz- i thought he was an honest man

Ortiz and Manny getting outed is like Jeter and Rivera for us. They were the face of that franchise and their two best players. Clemens was only here for two of the titles, and we defintely win in 99 without him, and probably 2000 as well.
