That's a good mock-up by a fan. The graphics look good, though Sonic should have a higher top spike on his back.

I actually hope that the project isn't like this. I don't want 3-D in any way, shape, or form. Street Fighter IV was done really well, but I don't think that Sega has the ability to do a good 2.5-D Sonic. (They've tried before.) I hope it's completely classic 2-D.

Good 3D Animation on the Green Hill Part, the Sonic Model needs a little bit work though, the Head doesn´t seem quite right to me, other than that, good animation dude! ^^
