I watched a video of Hillpace dogs self whelping and that gave me the courage to self whelp my bulldog, which she did successully and for that I thank everyone at Hillplace.

I own a bulldog who is fit and healthy and can run around with all the other breeds, copes very well with warm weather and only visits the vet once a year for her vaccinations.
Dorothy's dog knows absolutely nothing about bulldogs, that is plain to see! The Hillplace Bullies are all fit, strong and long lived rascals. I know because I own one. Ralph and Maria have done wonders for the breed with their movement towards encouraging self whelping. So butt out Dorothy's dog!
The health of a bulldog? Breed mean hip score a staggering 45! last year two bulldogs were scored. Just 2! This owner, if wise would not exercise these dogs like this in even moderately warm weather. Because they can't tolerate it. 90% of bulldogs are born by c-section because they physically can't do it any other way. Bulldogs would be much happier and healthier thinner and leaner with a longer muzzle. Please stop creating a demand for these exaggerrations of a dog it is unethical.
What a stupid comment , our last 3 litters were selfwhelped.You do not know the breed or what you are talking about, we bred the above line for 21 years they are healthy ,self whelping , shame you can`t see what is in front of your face, what a stupid comment shame on you
Well if you feel the Journal of Small Animal Practice is stupid also maybe. Google "Proportion of litters of purebred dogs born by caesarian section" and see for yourself.
I have lived with them for 21 years i know my dogs ,no they do not have bad hips they could not run around like that if they did i have never met one that has. We have the videos of them selfwhelping , so really do not know what you are banging on about. You really should know what you are talking about before you knock them . End of conversation
I would be interested to see any footage you have of bulldogs self whelping and indeed mating without third party assistance or the need for rape racks. TIA

I am pretty much ok with the bulldogs. It is the bulldog breeders and what they have done to the bulldogs that I take issue with.
