@bakedsushi Thanks, Man, Phil was the coolest of brothas! He was so laid back the tunes just dripped off his fingers. He'd treat everyone right no matter what. The quiet brotha who wanted to play a lick so fine that you'd have to stand there and grin cause it came so easily. Laugh, oh how he loved to laugh. Phil was a fine gentleman. Happy that he was part of my life. Miss him lots.

Bless PHIL GUY...he was not only my dear friend, along with The Professor, but a great player. This is how I want to remember Phil...doing what he loved the most ,playing with his friends.Please don't forget him. He is instrumental in the inspiration for the documentary I have been filming for the past couple of years on the men and women who live and play the BLUES! with love and respect~ Suzanne

Phil Guy is a monster talent, so few only know him as Buddy's brother, but he's so much more than that - had the pleasure of seeing him a few times here in Chicago - a great showman and a true gentleman~
