you need to complete the main game on any difficulty, then complete assignment ada, and then you can play seperate ways. you dont need limited edition disc, you'll need the ps2 or wii version
When you beat assignment ada, it auto saves the system data. You don't manually save it to the memory card. So no, it won't delete your leon progress.
Get the wii version it comes with Seperate ways. Also those of you who have the wii version and dont like the controls simply get a gamecube controler, plug it in, take out the nunchuck at the main meneu, and u can play with the gamecube controller. IF u want to go back to the wii remote. just simply put the nunchuck back in at any time.

if im playing assignment ada and i save the game over my leon file will it delete the leon progress?

No, it's not. You can find it in the ps2 version and the wii version as well.
